Good afternoon! Many thanks for the work done! Everything is great! Installed version 8.0.2c on Beelink G1 Ultimate (3 Gb ram). Everything works fine, even a blutooth headset is defined! There is only one problem - in the kodi menu, when navigating, it happens that you press up or down or enter several times, and the system seems to freeze and not react, and after about 30 seconds or a minute quickly performs all the actions that correspond to the pressed keys (for example : I flipped through the list of films by pressing the "down" button a few times, and then the system suddenly hung, and then a minute later It quickly moved the cursor down to the number of clicks I made with this hang. I would be very grateful to you for solving my problem. Thank you! Have a nice day!
Hi sabdro_66,
I have a Beelink GT1 Ultimate 3Gb too and it works fine, but I have problems with bluetooh headset:
1) very buggy the devices discovery. The headset appeards ramdomly (tried with two different headset models)
2) when at the end I can pair the headset, the audio is bad because it stop/start like with a connection problem (but it is not the problem I guess).
I tried to change all the values for Frequency, channels, upmix, downmix etc. but no luck.
Any suggestion ? kszaq?
have a nice day.
Dear kszaq I was able to have bluetooth working with headset only adding an external bluetooth dongle, I wonder if maybe there is a problem with device tree. I have a Beelink GT1 Ultimate and I'm using gxm_q200_3g.dtb is it the right one ?
sabdro_66 are you using a different .dtb ?
best regards,

Hi kszaq,
thanks for adopting OpenSSL. This fixed my issues with ExpressVPN and >20 years certificates! Now Zombioded vpn manager is working fine!
Great job, as usual.

Hi kszaq, thanks for your great work! I confirm 8.2.0a is working on a Beelink GT Ultimate based on S912 apparently without any evident issues, compared to previous usage. ( I had an 8.2.0a installed on a AKASO Q-BOX based on S905) .
Just made a donation to thanks you and encourage the development on Amlogic devices.

Well just to clarify, the problem is restricted to providers who decide to issue certificates that expire after 2038 (which is definitely not all of them) and I *think* the problem only occurs with LibreELEC on 32 bit hardware. And whether or not you use the add-on with Krypton is irrelevant, you'd hit the same problem trying using openvpn via the command line.
Yes sure, is not an add-on problem but a problem with Libreelec 32 due to a bug into OpenSSL 32. Not a zomboided fault.

See this reply earlier in the thread.

[hr]Thanks man, glad it's working well for you.
Just an update. Tried to obtain from ExpressVPN certicates with a validity before 2038 but no luck. So is not possible to use the plugin with Krypton.

CLTSinisterOne, full Kodi log, with debug switched on please. Use pastebin. It shouldn't fail to connect but not tell you about it.
[hr]miketyson I can't check to see if anything has changed with that provider. You'll have to help - Can you go here How to set up VPN on Linux
Get a few ovpn files and the latest set of keys and certs and send them to me in a PM (don't post publicly). I don't need your user ID or password, I just need to compare files (I also have multiple VPN services available to me so I definitely don't need to borrow your connection)
Tried to connect using command line on libreelec ssh and I get the same error. Than I get the all the files (.ovpn, cert, .key. pass.txt etc) and tried on an ubuntu machine conncected exactly on the same network. It worked immediately without any problem. I suspect something is wrong on libreelec 8.0 openvpn. Tried to update but is not possible. Could be a libreelec 8.0 bug ?

I have downloaded them from the provider.

Dear Zomboined,
I did what you suggest, uninstalling and re-installing but the results are the same. During the first connection, I selected the Switzerland UDP location I'm used to with ExpressVPN and selected from a folder the user.crt and user.key as requested by the connectin wizard (the two files were from my ExpressVPN account) .
The log result is the same than before, seems the certificate is considered wrong. I wonder why.
Attached the Kodi.log
I thanks you for your kind help.If you're trying to put random files in directories yourself, stop. Reinstall it. Let the add-on run, and when asked to supply a key, point the GUI at the the relevant ovpn.
If it doesn't work after you've done this then get a FULL Kodi log (on pastebin) and I'll look. -
Hi zomboided, thanks for your great work on VPN add-on!
I have a problem connecting to ExpressVPN. My configuration:
ca.crt and ta.key inside the addons/service.vpn.manager/ExpressVPN folder user.key and user.crt (tried also alternatively with client.key and client.crt) into userdata/addon_data/service.vpn.manager/ExpressVPN
These files were downloaded directly from my account from Expressvpn as well as the username and password.
Trying to connect I always get this log:
