KM8 Pro with 2GB RAM and gigabit ethernet. I bought it from AliExpress.
Even though I've got everything working, I'll probably not keep this box long term.
Why?

Please refrain from posting long logs on here directly. Quite frankly it’s a major annoyance. Thanks.
Agree, especially if not within the CODE brackets.

At my old FHD TV it shows ->

IC your point. Mine is a generic (MXQ Pro) Android TV Box with S905 CPU connected to an old analog TV through an HDMI2AVI adapter. That's why it just shows a single decoder. Many thanks.
Damn, mine only shows 1 decoder (see below). How to enable all like shown on your post?
Hi guys I know this is the wrong place but please could someone help, I have LE installed on SD card and would like to update the firmware on my box, what do i have to do to boot back up to LE after the firmware update without having to do a clean install thanks.
Just download the .img.gz file to the /storage/.update directory on your device. The, do a 'sync' before a reboot and it will be automatically upgraded to your SD card (the storage where your LE previously installed) at the next boot.
Great and thank you.
OK. What about unofficially?
I just got an Amazon Fire 7" tablet over last 2017 Black Friday sale. Hardware specs indicate it uses a Mediatek MT8127 4-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked @1.3 GHz with a Mali-450MP4 GPU + 1/8 GB RAM/eMMC internal storage, respectively. I wonder if this hardware is supported by LE. Anyone?
Agreed, at that price, I would be very skeptical about purchasing it. I was kind of alluding to the fact, that if it seems to be too good to be true, it probably isn't.
I did more searched and found GearBEST had MECOOL BB2 TV Box Amlogic S912 Octa Core with 2/16 GB RAM/eMMC storage for sale under $30 from its EU-23 warehouse over last black friday sale (yesterday) and now it is out of stock, unfortunately. Although I saw some comments on this forum most of MECOOL Amlogic S912 octa-core system suffers from eMMC defects. But, for under $30, I sure don't mind to grab one (if still available) if it can run LE on an external USB memory stick.
Those are some very good specs for that very low price.
Yes, but I sure would like to hear from some Diamond A9 (S912) owner testimonials, especially when running on LE.
Any Diamond A9 (S912) owners here can chime in how is the performance of LibreELEC on your device? I am planning to grab one unit of a Diamond A9 (S912) from GeekBuying to run LibreELEC. FYI, my current MXQ Pro (S905) works flawlessly with LibreELEC.
asix ax88178 chipset - USB 2.0
Just wanted to chime in on the above ASIX ax88178 chipset.
I don't know much about other USB2Net chipset other than the one listed above. In my tests (a few years back), I found such an ASIX ax881xx chipet (USB2) is of the most superior in the sense it was able to attain a throughput of 80+ Mbps download speed, IIRC. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about the upload speed. I tested this with a PogoPlug Pro configured as a local router/NAS with its stock RJ-45 port connected to a gigabit switch to share with several desktop computers and the RJ-45 port on the USB2Net dongle connected to one of the RJ-45 ports on a broadband router.
It is quite time consumming making a fresh disc using something like Win32DiskImager or Rufus and then restoring from a separate drive a complete back up of settigns and addons.
From the above statement, I gathered you are trying to clone a storage on a Windows platform. If you use a Linux OS and are comfortable doing thing through a command line interface (CLI), cloning a storage can be simply done using the dd utility. For instance, if your original storage is detected as a /dev/sdb and you want to clone it on a storage detected as /dev/sdc, all you need is to execute the following as root once login into your Linux computer.
I used/added bs=4M, you can change that to a different size as you wish. man dd will give you more information how to use dd utility.
chewitt: Excellent. Looking forward to using it when available.
Yes you can install and test latest preview version of webgrabplus on your libreelec installation as explained with obvious preview usage "warnings" in this post by awiouy
If WebGrab+ 2 has been on LE 8.1.9, why would I want to re-install it?
R U saying the latest WebGrab+ has been on LE v8.1.9?
