Yes, ofc....but AFAIK there is no option to use it 'Live'. So it still has to be installed somewhere. Either on a HDD/SSD or, like in this case, on a separated USB stick.

Which build are you using exactly? I installed mine yesterday and the shares are reachable. So it would be interesting, what's different.
No offense, but you are sure you have the correct IP (please test by pinging and maybe with SSH).
If you are able to SSH in, get us a debuglog, please

That would be strange. We tested that yesterday in the evening and had the same issue. We reported and Milhouse fixed it. I installed #322b myself yesterday in the evening without having issues.
I'll report to him.
Cheers

I don't know where to post this. I'm unable to activate my account because I didn't receive the confirmation e-mail. Neither I can't start a thread asking for help nor I can't find a resend confirmation option in my account settings. Can you help me, chewitt?Have you checked your Spam folder?

The installation progress is nearly the same as for OpenELEC. As we are on an early state, and the wiki is WIP, there are no manuals atm.
To know if your hardware is generally supported, just get us a ffew details about the specs of that machine (GPU is most important).
For a single boot system (if the hardware is supported):
- download the img.gz file from here: Index of /builds/testing/Generic/
- extract the gz file
- write the .img to an USB-stick
- plug the USB stick to your PC and boot from it
- install it on your HDD
- doneAs I never did a dual boot myself, I can't help much for that.
Greetings

This will need a new install or we can switch from oe simply putting tar in update foldet ?
Thank you
updating from OE to LE should work. Depending which OE version you use, it might be better to do a fresh install.

Thx very much

Most plugins are for Kodi itself and not for the OS. Some of them are platform specific. As LibreELEC has a similiar platform as OpenELEC has (and both are Linux based) there will be no big difference. If a plugin doesn't work, it's mostly incompatbility with Kodi itself. Then the addon-dev has to fix it and make it work on newer Kodi versions.
So it's very hard to say "all plugins will work" as it might depend if the maintainer does his homework. But, what can be said is, that if an addon works fine in Kodi, there is a good chance, that it will work under LibreELEC, too.

Some things still have to be done before publishing, I guess
