I don't know how to fix your NFS issue, but have you tried to use SMB instead? Just for a test.
Xtropy could you please try to baypass your AVR and connect your machine directly to the tv?
And please "always" enable debug logging in system settings (setting->system->logging->enable debug logging) before grabbing a debuglog
If you can´t enable debug logging, because it´s hard to read, you can use this way: advancedsettings.xml - Official Kodi Wiki
Please try with a clean installation. Just for testing.
Try to SSH in and do:
and then reboot. This will reset all your settings. All addons and repositories an "gone" as well, but backuped in the 'kodi-bak' folder. So it´s easy to get everything back if that fails, too.
Which NUC is it? Have you tried different USB ports? IIRC there might also be a problem with booting from USB 3.0.
The devs are always playing around with some devices. Maybe we will see those in the future, maybe not. It all depends on how far they will get or how much money they will spend on new hardware.
A further guess might be, that there could be community builds (means, builds that are done here at forums from users to users), first. If that works fine without bigger issues and many supported hardware, then it will probably go mainline. It also depends on how the hardware support will be. Just think of all the USB thingies which might be connected. It's not just only the OS, it's many more, that should be tested. So I won't expect it in the near future.
But who knows
could you explain a bit more please?
Kodi already has the option to log into the last used profile. Or you can specify a profile to log into automatically at startup. You are able to password protect the "master/adult" profile, so kids aren't able to log into that. If you specify a profile to log into automatically after boot, you can switch to the other by "log off 'profilename" at the shutdown button.
What else do you need? And why do you need it after a specific time?
I don't know if that works....but here on my Ubuntu system I can check the SMB version with
If that command will work on LibreELEC, too you don't need the 'sudo' before. So just 'smbstatus' probably.
For windows:
Checking Your SMB Version | Windows Server 2012 content from Windows IT Pro
Hmm...ok. Then I can't help for that
Probably the other 9 devices are in a different workgroup?
Could you please explain a bit more, what exactly you mean?
Please explain exactly what to you expect to see from which machine.

So if possible LibreElec should perhaps advice an repo what is reasonable standard
We do. The official LibreELEC.tv or the official Kodi.tv repositoriy.
If you are referring to any other repository, probably some from this list:
Official:Forum rules/Banned add-ons - Official Kodi Wiki
you won't 1. get any support for this and 2. we won't never add one of those as a standard repo.
The reason is very simple:
1. we don't support piracy
2. those repos are causing issues

Oh damn....I didn't read the nickname. Sorry Darren
I guess you are highly familiar with the procedure I explained
Moving backwards will not help to get things solved. You should do the following:
1. explain exactly how to produce the issue
2. provide a full debug log with debug logging enabled
3. if it might be an issue with the addon in relation to the new LibreELEC version probably report at the Kodi forum thread. Maybe the addon dev is able to fix
If it is an issue with LibreELEC, the devs will see it in your log, I guess.
Moving backwards to an older version won't help to solve the issue.
Well...rename this thread what it explains and do it here. Maybe we can split postings later after we either have a "How-To" section or we might create a page for our wiki for it.
Anyway....I would start here at first. So if there might be questions or things might change, you are able to react and edit the how-to to whatever it should be like.
Therefore I assume a "How-To" forum-section might be the way to go in the future for special things like that.
First page of this thread....in the 2nd posting is a link to his builds. Those are based on Kodi Krypton and are for testing purposes. They are not complete but I guess they are very usable and absolutely 'stable' enough.
Maybe you will have issues, and if, it's the best way to get things better if you report them
