what klojum wants to say is, that it would be best to have a clean kodi. That means no repos addons beside the officials should be installed.

You are right, there seems not to be a banned repo installed, but also those other repos or addons might cause an issue probably. So you could rename your .kodi folder to something like "kodi-bak" and reboot. That's like a factory reset. All addons and settings are 'gone', but backuped in the "kodi-bak" folder. So it's easy to restore them after testing.

If the issue is gone after renaming the .kodi folder, one of the repos/addons might be the issue. So install them one after another and see, after which addon causes Kodi to hang.

If the issue still persists, please get us a new (clean) logfile.

So then ask yourself why you have to pay for that add-on (from which we neither have a link nor a name atm). Then think about "FOSS" (free and open source software) and what that means. My guess is, that the devs of that mystic add-on are paying apple probably to get the informations Kodi doesn't get. But I might be wrong.

In general, Kodi as a FOSS, is NOT the issue if you have to pay for a service to get the needed informations how to use that protocoll. It's fine, if one is willing to pay for a service. But don't blame Kodi not to pay for a service to satisfy such a company to use their possibilities. Otherwise you might have to pay for Kodi as well....and that wouldn't be the thought which is behind FOSS.

Noone blames Kodi under Linux not being possible to play native BR discs because of missing licenses. Luckily there is a way around that. And that way is for free, too. But everyone was fine to accept, that Linux has to be a free OS and therefore missing the option Windows provides instead.

So still not a Kodi 'issue' in my point of view. But maybe our point views differ in a bit and that's fine

If you want the RPi to be a server, you better stay at OSMC. LibreELEC has no apt-get, because it's a read-only system like OpenELEC is. So instaling additional software (beside addons and probably docker...the letter is a WIP) is a bit difficult.

Beside the case you compile from source and know how to add specific packages, you should stay with the distro you use already and probably use LibreELEC as another client probably

It's not an issue with Kodi. It's an issue with Apple (specifically IOS 9) always changing things. At the moment, there is nothing to fix beside the devs will get it to work (until the next Apple update when it will fail again).

I see: OS error code 101: Network is unreachable

Probably you should use the 'wait for network' option. I don't know if this is also related to your other issue, but maybe it's worth a shot.

Normally it should. 'An error message' isn't that helpful in this regard ;). Could you mention this error, please? Did you configure the addon before (with adding email adress)?

There are other ways to get the Kodi logifle...

If you know the IP of your LibreELEC machine, you are able to ssh in..see:

But please note, that this only works for RPi2 <-> RPi3 as both devices have the same installing/update image.
