I know that error...mostly related to the SD card. We had this with the wetek Hub as some San Disk cards have failed.

To check if the USBs are working or not, just plug a thumb drive in, connect to your box using SSH and enter the following command:

lsusb

Might it be possible, that you might have "sync playback to display" enabled? This would disable passthrough. See:

For IPTV you need a specific m3u list coming from your IPTV provider. There are some m3u lists in the net, but those are mostly illegal. There are also some channels (in germany for example) which are able to receive via IPTV for free legally. Depending on where you come from and what is available.

The other way round is setting up a PVR backend (like TVHeadend) as a server and a frontend client to connect to the backend. This requires additional hardware depending on the service you receive (DVB-T/-S/-C).

HD audio should be fine with that. Not sure for Atmos or DTS-X. But DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HDMA should be fine.

You are actually running 7.0.1 which we would recommend to update to 7.0.2 at least. I know, that you said, that it has the same issue with that version, but probably the log looks different then.

The very best would be if you do tests with 7.90.008 as development for 7.0.2 has stopped and there will be no fix anymore. All development is focused on 7.90.xxx. So please retry with the latest nightly builds and provide a new logfile, please.

I would recommend to do a fresh install with 7.90.008. If you update from an older version please do a factory reset after updating with:

mv /storage/.kodi /storage/kodi-bak

then see if it still crashes.

You know that the file you played is in Dolby Atmos?

probably your gpu can't do that under linux. as amd and linux aren't the best friends.

Changing the content of your posting doesnt mean it means something different. Kodi has its own (legal) video addons. If you have problems with them, then enable debug logging, restart Kodi, reproduce your issue, grab the logfile and share it with us if you dont know what you are searching for. we will see which addon you have used and what might have happened (well....probably not me, but there are others ).

If you have banned addons and/or repos installed, please remove those first. otherwise it's not possible to give any kind of support. we've seen those addons causing the weirdest problems. so while tey are installed, we blame them for nearly any problem.

Excuse me...probably I might misunderstood...but what content from which target folder did you put to the update folder?

Normally the migration is done by putting the *.tar file (as it is) to the update folder and then reboot.

If you meant that, then please tell us more from what version you want to migrate from.
