the le1`0 beta fixed all my cec issues with rpi4
I wish this was the case. I got no different performance from LE 9 or 10. My Raspberry Pi 4 will just live in its box until something stable comes along.

I finally got my Raspberry Pi 4 (8gb) model with LE9 working on a Sceptre 65". Putting the microHDMI into the port next to the power and in HDMI 1 of the TV, as well as adding hdmi_force_hotplug=1 and hdmi_drive=2 in my config.txt. Not sure how many of those were necessary but it does finally connect to CEC at start.
My only problem now is that the performance is pretty lackluster. It locks up every so often and nothing happens, although the TV menus are fine still. There is also some screen tearing going on. Changing it to 1080p / 60hz from 4k seems to making it a bit smoother but there is still some vicious lag and freezing.
None of this exists on my Raspberry Pi 3.
Last I checked, the day after my last post, there wasn't an update pushed so I guess I'll wait until the next update to see if it's fixed. Thanks for all your work, sir!
Haha, fair enough. I'll check it out tonight!
I have auto-updates enabled for add-ons so maybe it just updated itself? Glad the changed password thing is fixed. Is that live or just current tested?
Yeah, not sure why it seems to have changed the password on its own. Had the addon installed and watched some stuff then went to sleep. The Pi stays on all the time. When I came back the next evening to watch another show, everything was gone. The password had somehow changed. Unless it auto-updated, I'm not sure what happened.
Thanks for all your work on this addon! It makes having a SQL database on LibreElec much easier.
I noticed that when I updated this addon, it changes the password. It also seemed to randomly change the password yesterday. Any way to prevent this behavior?
Yeah, I have Kodi for Android installed on it but the whole thing overall is pretty laggy. Had I not gotten it really cheap I never would have bought one. In hindsight, I never should have bought one. Haha.
I have an Amazon Fire Stick and am curious if it is possible to replace the OS with LibreELEC like on my Raspberry Pi. I haven't really found anything searching around so I think I may be SOL but I figured I'd ask!
