In the latest build I am having issues with Samba. I no longer see the devices within my network from Windows 10 and when I attempt to connect manually through the IP it will not accept the user and password. It also asks for a user and password even when this option is disabled in the libreelec config. Any suggestions?
Edit: Nevermind. Somehow my samba.conf was causing the problem after upgrade.
I did mean player? You mentioned that you couldn't see the need for both I assumed you meant plex and kodi?
Probably not, sorry. There's already Plex · GitHub and I can't see the need for running both at the same time.
Because i use plex for my own media to allow for use on non-kodi devices and for keeping watched statuses in line. I also use the kodi elements for the number of addons etc. not available in plex not to mention the emulators.
Any chance you could include plex media player and emby theater in the builds. Would save me using the awful plex for kodi addon. Cheers

Not a problem. You can also set keys to bring up retroarch in game so you can edit things on the fly. I use a ps3 controller and have these mapped to pressing L3 and R3.

I owe you a beer or whatever your particular poison is.One more question, would the retroarch.cfg be the appropriate file to edit to enable a hotkey for exiting the emulator? ESC works fine, but the wife wont allow a keyboard in her living room so I need to make it controller based or (I guess this is possible) remap a key on my Harmony remote for esc.
You can set the hotkeys within retroarch itself. In the retroarch menu, go to input, input hotkey binds and set a key to enable hotkeys (i use start on the controller) and set a key for quit retroarch (i use select on the controller). Once done, pressing select and start together will exit retroarch. If you are using a skin other than the modified estuary, you will need to create a home screen link to retroarch which you can do using the command 'SYSTEM.EXEC(/usr/bin/retroarch.sh)'.
Any plans to integrate cemu escalade? Appreciate it is windows only but could this be done through WINE?
Just for anyone who is still having problems getting audio to work in emulationstation and retroarch. I spent a load of time this morning trying to find why I couldnt get sound despite all of the settings in aconf etc. being correct. I found my issue was a setting inside of kodi>system>audio>keep audio device alive. With this active I had no sound however disabling the setting fixed the issue. Worth a try if nothing else fixes your problems.
