Just gave it a try and it installed and is running smoothly thanks guys

Sounds a lot like a netwok issue maybe your connection cant handle the stream or its on slow server.

But if you come out to the main menu while the video is playing do you have any sound.
Is the video local or is it from a NAS or a stream ?

Was looking into this myself before but could not find much.
Seen this on another forum and it makes me think if might not be possible

However i have a workaround where i can set my tv to turn off after 60 secs if it no longer detects a singnal from a hdmi port.
It basically the same thing just with a 60 delay in the Tv switching off.

Is it just the video you lose sound from?
Like when you lose sound and you bring up the menu do you have menu sound ?
