Well, I´ll try that tomorrow and post an update on how it´s going...
I need to go to bed, my head is spinning...
Thanks for your help.
I managed to create the folder /storage/bin and put both files in there.
I tried to start it with "sh carpc-controller" but it gave me this error:
Kueche:~/bin # sh carpc-controller
carpc-controller: line 1: syntax error: unexpected word (expecting ")")
I was under the impression that this is an executable file... Do I have to compile it first with the files from github?
Also, what do I have to put in the autostart.sh?
I´m a total noob at this...
Hi.
I have build a kitchen radio for me and my wife with the RPi3 inside. I´m using the latest Libreelec Version (8.0.0) and everything works fine.
Now I want to control it with two Rotary Controllers like these: Rotary Encoder Module Brick Sensor Development KY-040: Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör
I already put them in and connected them to the GPIO pins following this tutorial: Engineering(DIY): Control XBMC from the Raspberry PI GPIO's
In his Tutorial, Andrei mentioned the "carpc-controller" tool and the "io_config" (here´s a link to it GitHub - aistodorescu/carpc-controller: Raspberry PI controller
), which should be placed in /usr/bin.
How can I do that? It doesn`t work via FTP (I managed to copy them to the "videos" folder) and I don´t know how to move them with Putty (Linux Noob ).
And how do I get it to work on startup?
Thanks in advance!
