Yes it does use your CPU because we(Nvidia Linux users) are still waiting on a refresh of VDPAU from Nvidia to have better hardware rendering of certain video formats and codecs.

Hi Guys,
I´m sorry, i dont speak English very well..;-)
I´ve got an HTPC, with a Intel i3 and a GTX 1050. I´ve tried to install Windows and Kodi, but there where to many Problems, except 4K HDR doesn´t judder or shaking
So i decieded to install Libreelec v7.95.3 BETA . But now I have the Problem, that all 4K HDR Videos judder, normal 4K Videos without any Problems..
I think it´s because Libreelec uses my CPU instead of the GPU on this Format (Cpu usage 90-100%)
How can I "tell" Libreelec to use my GPU for this kind of Format
