May be that I'm wrong, but I think the log snippets are sufficient to guess what's going on: LE detects a different (wrong) video codec and therefore cannot play the file.

On my C2, as soon as I use Leia-builds, I cannot play H264 files (MPEG-4 AVC (part 10)) with hardware acceleration activated. The video starts, but within a couple of seconds it stops; in addition, the timestamp is nonsense (i.e. -455485:28:30) All Krypton-builds work fine.
Here are some sample videos: https://c.gmx.net/@329626646187350530/T ... 1OKaH9RmDgSome more details can be found here: H264 playback issue with hardware acceleration activated - ODROID

Which version of LibreElec do you use? For DVB-support on Odroid C2 you most likely need a special media build which contains additional drivers.

the switch issue should be a problem of the AML render engine - just setup tvh and connect with an windows kodi + hts client to check if tvh works like desiredI observed that issue for a while. With Odroid C2, artifacts are present from time to time (unfortunately not only within the first seconds, as I said before), no matter which version of TVHeadend I use. TVHeadend log then says
This does not happen when I use a Pi 3.

Since I own a RPi3 and an Odroid C2, both running Media-Build-Editions of LE8, I can compare both systems. I noticed that switching channels is extremely fast on RPi3, but takes about 2 seconds on C2, in addition there are some artifacts during the first seconds. Is this an issue of TVHeadend or is this due to PVR client?
In addition, I tried to update (on C2) from TVHeadend .2415 to .2449 just by copying service.tvheadend42 into the addons directory. After rebooting the service.log says
Code/storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tvheadend42.start: exec: line 167: /storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tvheadend: not found
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you very much!

EDIT: Maybe this has to do with 32 bit vs. 64 bit? Media-build-edition of LE8 for C2 is 32 bit.EDIT2: Aha, 32 bit version for RPi 3 works on C2! Still with the channel switching issue mentioned above. Okay, I'll try to be happy with that.

Ah, thanks a lot! That's not a surprise, since most solutions end up with an Arduino. The second issue is software: Do you use Hyperion, and if yes, how did you install and configure it?
-
How did you manage to drive the LED via SPI? Is there a step-by-step-guide? Installing and configuring Hyperion with LED connected as shown in the wiki did not work for me.

... is for my ws2801 ledstripes ...Well, how did you manage this? Did you connect the stripe directly to the C2 as shown in the wiki? Or did you use an additional Arduino?
Direct connection did not work for me and I could not find a workaround to do so. So how did you solve that?
