I have solved the problem I have changed settings in kodi back to 1080p and in playback settings put on adjust display refresh rate to on start/stop. Does libreelec 8 do this automatically?

Hey guys I have an asrock beebox n3150 running libreelec 7. I have the output settings at 3840 x 2160 and maxed out at 30hz. I have noticed that some content mainly sd will be jerky mainly when people are moving and camera panning. Movies are mostly fine in hd but I have not tried any 4k stuff yet.
Is this due to the 30hz setting? I can't go any higher, would a 60hz setting be better? Not that I have it lol.

You need to use usb stick if ya don't want to install to devices memory. Download img.gz file and use libreelec usb sd creator to put the downloaded file onto the usb stick. Download here. Now you need to boot into recovery with usb stick in box. Then once in recovery just choose reboot, on reboot libreelec should pop up. If not try another usb port on box.
Once installed just remove usb stick when ya don't wanna use libreelec.

If anyone is having problems installing demetris le files try these then update with demetris tar file.

When you power on your device the android guy should come up and a progress bar underneath him?

Download the .zip for your device extract and put the 2 files on sd or micro sd whichever your device takes. Try booting into recovery with card in device and it should start to install to internal.

I've found a stock rom on freaktab for the mxiii I might install that then try le again. Or use the recovery.img from that and try le again.

Ok will try that. Will it make a difference?

Will using clockworkmod recovery work? -
Make sure you save your remote.conf you will find it in etc folder on android. Just use astro file manager to navigate to it.

Hey mate I couldn't get le to work on the mxiii I'm on stock tronfy android rom. When I try with toothpick method it looks like installing with the android dude but then just boots back into android rom. Also tried usb stick method but still no joy. When I installed on m8 box with files I got off chunk1982 I did notice it had a recovery file in with the files on micro sd. Could I just use that recovery file?
