Hi all,

Having a problem when loading a video file and the spinning working icon comes up in the middle of the screen and continues like that indefinitely. If I press the stop button on my remote it then freezes. It has been doing it with all of the latest alpha builds, currently using v8.90.006 Alpha, was working okay with LE8.0. I don't know if its a coincidence but it seems to only happen if I've skipped the previous video I was watching to the end once I've reached the ending credits.

I'm using an odroid C2 connected to a Samsung HW-M4500 soundbar via HDMI, playing files via samba over my network.

Yeah it works if I manually turn the receiver on, have you tried restoring default in the kodi cec settings?

Similar problem here, kodi would usually turn my receiver on, with LE alpha 009 I have to manually turn my receiver on. My TV still turns on, just not my receiver, worked fine on 008. It's a Samsung tv and a yamaha receiver, running on a C2

Apart from boot times is there any advantage to running LibreELEC from an EMMC module rather than a SD-Card on a Odroid C2?

If it failed there's nothing lost though. Krypton wouldn't touch the original databases, they'd still be there.
Do a backup first with the built-in add-on and it's even easier to revert.

Is there a limit on how far back in terms of db version you can go before kodi can't migrate it to the latest version in kyrypton? I know someone running isengard, will kodi krypton be able to update his videodb to v107 or is it too old?

Sync audio via PLL option is missing in the alpha builds, will it be coming back or has it been removed for a reason? I know it was still there the last time I used one of the Milhouse nightly builds.
