Found an issue with the most current builds.

Both the LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2-devel-20170920 and LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2-devel-20170924 images have broken the ability to fully access my SMB share. I can see my NAS when adding files, but when I attempt to connect to a folder on the SMB share i get the message "Error: File exists".

Dropping back to the older version that I had lying around (LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.2.img) solves the problem.

Ive been using an earlier build for 6 months now, and have to say that it has been fantastic - thank yo so much escalade.

How do I go about updating to the latest version without having to completely re-install everything? Or is it easier to pull off specific config files, perform a fresh install and then copy everything back on...?

I resolved it - edited the retroarch.cfg in /storage/.config/retroarch and added the controller mapping directly there. Thanks for the pointer escalade.

Emulationstation appears not to be writing the input remappings to "~/.config/retroarch/remappings", neither are there any autoconfig files being generated.

The es_logs file suggest that there are problems parsing the input config. any idea how to resolve this?
Is it possible to reset the configuration options? or is it best try re-installing emulationstation?
