Maybe a stupid question but how do I install the nightlies?

Suspend/Resume works perfect and very reliable on my machine with LE 8.2. Now I wanted LE/Kodi to resume by itself when there is a scheduled recording pending. But if I enable "Power saving" in the PVR section of the settings the machine reacts very sluggish after resume. The sluggish behaviour is definately connected to the power saving option in Kodi. Everything is back to normal when I deactivate the power saving option in Kodi and send the machine to sleep and wake it up afterwards.
Any hints?

It's correct that your tuners are being identified as DVB-T capable. The decoding of DVB-T2 is just a matter of setting up the muxes in the right way. For Germany it's like this: Howto: Setup german DVB-T2 "beta" channels - Tvheadend
Keep in mind that in Germany DVB-T2 is being encoded using HEVC and to decode that you basically need capable hardware that does hardware based HEVC decoding. A Raspi is not powerful enough to decode HEVC streams.
In other countries probably other codecs are being used and a Raspi maybe sufficient.

Thanks! It was empty by default. Btw. I got timeshift more stable by activating "On-demand" and allocating RAM in the timeshift settings.

I did a fresh installation of LE 8.2 today including tvheadend from the LE repo. Sadly timeshift is not working reliably. It used to work perfect even with a HD. Now I have a blazing fast Samsung SSD. I have also spotted that there is nothing being referenced in the storage path. In past LE installations the storage path has been populated as far as I remember. Could this be the issue?

Simply follow these instructions to access your LibreELEC from Windows 10:
how-to-detect-enable-and-disable-smbv1-smbv2-and-smbv3-in-windows-and
Once you added the SMBv2 registy key, you can access LE by typing in "\\LIBREELEC" in Windows 10 file explorer.
At least this is how it worked for me.

I updated yesterday manually after i kept getting the update notifications for 1-2 weeks.
-
Never happenend for me! I was on a fresh install of 8.1.1 beta and kept getting update notifications without the update to 8.1.2 ever taking place. Therefore the confusion. I was also expecting that LE gets updated automatically if set to auto.
-
No! Since auto update will never update your system it seems.

First of all a user would need to understand that he needs to toogle from auto update to manual update. Check for available versions shows only if you switch from auto update to manual update. I think this is a terrible solution from a ux perspective especially since auto update is set as default since one of the recent LE versions.
Being a ux designer myself i can promise you that no user is going to understand this if he did not went through this process at least once before.
There is no point in calling something "auto update" if you need to toggle from auto to manual to be able to update.
I am happy to assist in redesigning this flow i case you guys see the point and have the need for support.

I am on LE 8.1.1 Beta and keep getting update toasts/notifications for the new LE version but I have no idea how to trigger the update. I would call myself an advanced user but I have no clue how the auto update process is supposed to work. Even after a reboot I keep getting the notifications without the update actually happening. How do I trigger the update?

I can provide logs too because I am facing the same issue since I started using LE.

I didn't notice any quality differences between my internal DVB-T2 capable tv card and the xbox one. From my understanding there shouldn't be any differences since the cards basically pass on the broadcasted transport streams and all the processing/decoding happens by the codecs that Kodi/LibreELEC are providing. So there shouldn't be any noticeable differences between tuners at all.

I can confirm that the stick works perfect at least with DVB-T2 in Germany. For EUR 13,- at Amazon this is a steal.
Big thanks to the LE team for making this possible!

I just ordered two of the tuners for DVB-T2 usage in Germany. Will provide feedback once they arrive.

If I watch the recordings using VLC they play just fine. It's just that if I watch the recordings using Kodi that I have this annoying audio hick-ups. I can watch 4K Material and anything else that I throw at my box without any issues. It's just the damn recordings which include AAC 5.1 that are causing issues.
The audio encoding depends on the channel. Some channels like Arte use AAC 5.1 while other channels use something else for audio.

I am facing a strange issue with AAC 5.1 here in Germany using latest LE and Tvheadend for watching DVB-T2. While watching live tv with AAC 5.1 audio I have no issues but if I try to watch a recording (e.g. of the same programe) which includes AAC 5.1 audio I am facing annoying audio hick-ups. Is Kodi relying on differtent audio decoders for live tv and recordings? This is pretty annoying because any recording which includes AAC 5.1 audio is sadly unwatchable. I started using Kodi with Krypton and the DVB-T2 release here in Germany and was facing the issue independent of LE and Kodi Krypton version. I installed 8.1.1 beta recently from scratch and the issue remains. Any ideas?
