You will need some kind of airflow to get rid of the high temps.
Situation varies per user situation. As in, not every house has an active ventilation system.

It's possible that the RPi2b is still more prone to SDcard corruption than the newer RPi 3 and 4 devices.
You can try re-imaging the current SD card, which may result in a similar result over time.
Or use another SD card and try that.
Perhaps you can provide Kodi's debug log (via pastebin) as well, so we can further investigate with lots more details of your Kodi setup.
The RPi4 CPU gets hotter with LE10, seems it has more work to do with LE10 than 9.2
The RPi4b needs a decent cooling solution, period. Yes, it can get hotheaded, even with 9.2, so a proper metallic case or an active cooling solution is recommended.
Which exact "app(s)" are you referring to..?
I don't know how to take screenshot
Attach a USB keyboard. Press the PrtScr button, and find the screenshots folder in the LibreELEC storage.
Everything working fine except autoexec.py doesn't seem to be working.
This is the news and announcement forum section... If you need assistance, please open a new forum thread in the appropriate section.
"Settings/Playback/Videos/Playback/Sync playback to display"
Perhaps you need to enable the Advanced or Export menu setting (bottom left).
There is an audio sync option in the AUDIO OSD settings. Press ENTER during a video, select the Audio section, and adjust as needed.
Two USB stick with Libreelec 9.95 installation - no way to boot. Freezing at boot process - propably invalidable prepared boot medium. Old motherboard with Intel G31 chipset.
And of course. USB creator is again blocked by Microsoft Windows.
I have had my share of image-write problems. The only tool working 100% for me is Rufus under Windows.
I'm sure there is a way to instruct the Windows boot leader to pick the LibreELEC partition, and there are external (linux) boot solutions compatible with Windows. I just haven't used Windows properly for more than 10 years, so I'm a bit rusty there.
@adrgu371 We prefer download links from Github sources when you have created your own compiled releases.
Shady download links can contain any type of viral crap these days, so we're not looking forward to such links.
hi, can you install it libreelec on a ssd and windows on a different ssd and choose which boot?
Most PC motherboards will use a key to activate the boot selection, e.g. F11 .
Well, iIf you think we have a crystal ball lying around with which we can "see" your problems... That's not the case.
For all we care you just installed LibreELEC onto a coffee machine.
Hi, I'm getting a lot of errors when downloading the Banners (x86, LE10.0b1) and only some are shown
The HTTP 403 is a HTTP status code meaning access to the requested resource is forbidden. The server understood the request, but will not fulfill it. Perhaps TVDB messed up their server setup. Try again later.
I don't have a pi 4, but on my pi 3 and on my pc libreelec does split it correctly
The RPi3 and RPi4 are two quite different graphics beasts. The RPi4 has a new graphics 'driver solution', so it's basically developed from the ground up. And since 3D as a display technique is on its way out and HDR is the new buzz, it will take some more time to implement properly no matter how "relatively simple and platform independent" it is. But we always warmly welcome developers for graphics drivers if you're interested.
The RPi 0-1-2-3 have the same graphics chip for some 7 years now. That chip is at its peak performance.
Libreelec20 .. Really? LibreELEC 10 is not even officially released yet.
Options don't just simply disappear. Can you make a screenshot of the audio output section with the devices listing?
I don't understand your suggestion.
As far as I understand it, you have 12 Kodi clients in your household. Each has its own local database running on its SDcard. That means 12 times the maintenance.
With a single centralized database, every client connects to that one database. All maintenance (adding, deleting, cleaning, etc) will only need to be done once. Without any additional scripts. But you do need a (extra) computer to run the database server on.
But, do what works for you.
