I got around this by just plugging a usb dongle in for a wireless remote great everything from my NAS played
Sounds like a router/switch port/cable problem..?
Now when I am watching something off my NAS sometimes everything just locks up sometimes i can quit the video i am watching and start it again and it's just plain pissing me off!
Not the best way to start your Monday morning...
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -
If you have RaspOS running, update the RPI + USB firmware if still necessary.
Try booting RPi+LibreELEC on a (non-4K) PC monitor or other TV to see if the basics work.
Resizing partitions manually can also be done with tools like GParted.

but looks like the sd is in one way or another become write-protected.
Double-check the SDcard/USBstick with a partition tool. It's possible that one or both partitions are indeed marked read-only.
You could try Gparted to delete the partiions and/or to use the HP USB Format tool to fully reformat it. (no promises though)

For the record, on my RPi4 NTP is going off every 17m04s.

Do you mean LE usb-sd creator?
Yes and no. I personally have had mixed results with writing LE images to USB sticks and SD cards.
Rufus for Windows seems to be a foolproof method so far. Any disk image writer should work, as should dd in Linux

I have Pi-Hole running as well. I'll have a check tonight on my RPi4, because there is some continious network stuff ongoing if I am to believe the UTP lights I'm not actively blocking them. But a NTP check every 3 seconds is a bit over the top...

sorry, but my english is very terrible..
Your choice for a forum nickname is prime example of that as well.
Think again before signing up to a family-friendly forum.
the videos just get stuck and keep getting the message "NO ROUTE TO HOST" at the random time of different videos being played and then it stays The addressed hard disk is still in a continuous loop in operation, although it generally switches itself to standby after 10 minutes.
How are the RPi's network-connected, via wifi? Also provide a Kodi's debug log for information, as there is no crystal ball here.

Does SSH itself from Windows even work when connecting to the LibreELEC box?
-
That sounds more like a generic Kodi problem, not a LibreELEC only problem.
Can you share the .ASS file(s) ?
-
How about doing a backup from LE's Backup/Restore tool, create a new SD card with the LibreELEC image, and restore the backup to the newly created SDcard?
-
Any other ideas?
Start fresh with a new video database. It'll be a quicker solution than finding out what goes wrong.

and has UEFI support if that's the question
What are the available boot options in the BIOS/UEFI settings?
Is there a legacy boot option? And a disable Intel Fast-boot, that sort of stuff?

What exact laptop? Is it still from this decade? :o)

How could I burn it to MicroSD ?
If you look at the USB-SD Creator tool, you'll see a button "Select file".
Select your downloaded file and click on the Write button.
