Wifi performance can vary quite a lot per location, as no two environments are 100% alike. Wifi reception also depends on antenna size. So a simple usb wifi dongle with a 'normal' antenne will likely outperform an built-in antenne on the RPi's motherboard.

Chances are also that the wifi driver has not (yet) been fully optimized. Other than that, if you remotely have the option to use ethernet cable, the choice of network connectivity is a no-brainer.
The Confluence skin is the 'system skin' by default, and resides on the System partition, which is a read-only partition by design.
If you want to make changes to Confluence, you'll need to make a copy of the folder first, and place it in the Storage partition. You also need to rename it to avoid conflicts with the system skin. Rename involves not only the folder name, but you also need to edit the addon.xml file contents within the skin folder.
Other than that, Kodi 17 with the new Estuary skin is coming soon. So your changes may not last long as Confluence is not (yet?) fully compatible with 'Krypton' as far as I know.

If you use the direct method via SSH, as already outlined to you, then you can simply have LibreELEC upload the log file via the built-in pastebin support. After that, just share the URL of the uploaded log file. No need to paste some 10 log files here.

All external disk devices are to be auto-mounted at boot time, including USB harddrives.
Sometimes Linux does not mount Windows formatted diskdrives because of an incomplete/faulty removal of the harddisk.
How about connecting your harddrive, and get some information via SSH via the following commands:

Alternatively, an Odroid C2 could be a good replacement once the bugs are finally squashed.

Is it the 'too small system partition' problem?
Anyone else have weak audio? I've played around with the audio setting and got the audio a little stronger, but it still seems weak.
It's just too bad that we have no crystal ball here, otherwise we would know what kind of hardware this is all about. If you are talking about analog audio on a Raspberry Pi, then you are totally correct. It is the achilles heel of the RPi boxes.
It's possible that the migration overlooked the RSS-feeds file somehow. It may be worth looking into.
A clean install of LibreELEC only shows Kodi feeds on news articles and addon updates.
Including UVC or webcam drivers is not (at all) at the top of our priority list. If others can do a PR for those drivers, we could consider including them.
You can also look in the Programs menu where the LibreELEC addon should be located.
The default location is /storage/.backup, but there is now a user selection for the backup location. Whatever you do with the backup file is of course up to you.
Just formatting isn't always enough. The HP USB tool also cleans the boot sector. It has helped people in the past.
Yes, however... It also backups/restores the guisettings.xml file, which can be different from one Kodi client to the other in case of different hardware. Copying from one RPi2 to another should present no issues.
Perhaps you need to 'clean' your USB stick(s) first with this tool:

And then write the diskimage again to your USB stick.
Any NUC should be able to boot from an USB stick, unless you enabled Fastboot in the BIOS.

No. You may have installed other addons triggering the subtitle download, or perhaps enabled to download the first available subtitle. Other than that, it has never been predefined behavior to auto-start the Opensubtitles addon.
