    A Celeron 847 is about 3 to 4 Intel generations old. It's a decent box for most h264 videos, but h265 is a totally different matter. Maybe the simple, low bitrate 720p videos will run, but other than that, it will not have the "oomph" to decode those hevc videos. Either stick with h264, or get some decent hevc capable hardware.

    You think you can work up the courage of explaining to us the type of network, and which type of password you are complaining about? Possibly also how you have mapped those network drives: using the Kodi GUI, or using your own mount commands? Renting a crystal ball and 'see' these details for you is a bit pricey these days.

    In simple terms: more info would be oh so nice. More info = better understanding your problem.

    Any problems encountered should always be (re)tested with he default system skin, just to see if it is a skin problem. If the default skin works fine, you'll need to ask the developer(s) of the skin you are using to fix your issues.

    Also, you are encouraged to upload the kodi.log of your RPi2 to a pastebin website, so we might see what problems are occurring.

    So all problems start when 8 (...) USB drives are attached? 8 drives with possibly different external casings, each with a different USB controller?
    Test with attaching each USB disk separately, and see if your problems arise.

    You could start testing with a LibreELEC setup that is actually clean. Meaning, without the boblight stuff AND without the repos with the not-so-legal addon crap from xbmchub and dnarepo. Those 3rd party repos can also have functionality beyond Kodi's control.

    Wether the wifi module is correctly supported, I don't know. It could be a Linux kernel thing. A clean install, along with a pastebin'd listing of dmesg might help.

    Technically sure it's possible. Looking at the newest database schema table (MyMusic60) for songs, there are 2 fields: iStartOffset and iEndOffset.
    No idea if those will be used for a resume function, you'd best ask that on the Kodi forum.

    A simple batch renaming tool will work wonders too.

    A folder like 'Dexter.Complete.S01-S02-S03-S04-S05-S06-S07-S08.720p.BluRay.DD5.1.x264-ITSat', does it contain ALL episodes of Dexter in the same folder?

    Also, what is (for example) the exact full filename of one of those Dexter episodes?

    Try to follow Kodi's TV folder and episode naming as described in Kodi's Wiki.

    A couple of things...

    Try and upload your log file to a dedicated pastebin website, it's easier for others to access it instead of having to unzip files first. It also does not burden our forum with attachment files.

    Your log shows your RPi is using several not-so-legal repositories/addons (i.e. xbmchub, superrepo, genesis...). Each of those can interfere with background processes, or have other functionality that hampers the general workings of Kodi or LibreELEC as a whole. Those repos or addons can contain functionality beyond our control. Simply because we did not create those repos and addons. And if those addons are creating issues, it's really not our problem.

    Make a full backup of your RPi setup, and start over with a fresh setup.

    Some of your added repos are questionable 3rd party repositories. Addons from those repos can contain functionality beyone our control. A test with a clean setup (a bootable usb stick with LibreELEC, and no added repos) should clarify things.

    Which dmesg error are you referring to?
