For now, Asrock N3160/37xx motherboard should do for video only stuff.
For any other requirements you'll have to move up the intel Skylake mobo ladder.

Here is an (older) tutorial from our neighbor's forum:
OpenELEC Mediacenter - OpenELEC Forum - [HOWTO] Multiboot OpenElec + Windows without Ubuntu install (1/11)I have never tried this setup since I use Ubuntu as well myself, which has GRUB2 for an easy boot manager.

I'd say those temps are quite okay. Remember that this is a fanless device, so don't compare them with any computers in PC casings. If you use a closed housing, just drill a few extra holes in it, so the heat can escape at the top of the box.

Just curious: why is a fully new topic necessary when you can simply add to your previous topic?

The RPi-1 has a normally sized SDcard slot, the RPi-3 uses a microSD card.
Unless you already use a microSD + adapter on the RPi-1, a backup-restore operation seems a better option for a RPi-3.

Well, in my opinion, there are a couple of things to know. For the record, I'm not a Kodi/LibreELEC developer, nor a technician.
- LibreELEC is not likely to update the 7.0.x build (Jarvis) series, as we are already fully engaging 7.90.x, aka Kodi 17 Krypton.
- LE's Kodi Krypton is based on a newer Linux kernel, so support of suspend/resume can have a better/different? result on your AMD box. Try installing & testing it from a 2nd USB stick.
- Your AMD Opteron machine is already some 10(?) years old by now. Supporting old hardware is not one of LE's main goals. This is more about Linux itself.
- In my experience, AMD machines in general tend to have more glitches as the very latest Linux kernels are used, v4.8 is used now. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS for example runs on kernel 4.4, several Linux generations earlier.
- Perhaps "If it's not broken, don't fix it" is applicable. Stay with the older OE version if that has a perfect fit for your machine. Don't upgrade if you just like to have a higer version number on your screen. -
Most configurations are unique. So it's best to make a full backup of your working setup before doing any upgrading.
Once you have made the backup, download the correct .tar file, and place it in the Update folder as usual, and reboot.
Should there be problems, you can either downgrade and restore your backup, or go indeed for a new configuration, depending on how big the mess is. -
Have you enabled the option "Wait for network", just to be sure that the network is up?

LibreELEC has an update mechanism in its Settings Addon tool. By now your box should already have been updated if you have installed the official build.
Alternatively, you can download the update file and place it in the Update folder. See HOW TO:Update LibreELEC - LibreELEC

I cannot confirm this bug as yet. Running a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 LTS setup on an Intel i3 3225 Ivy Bridge machine, and with or without a SD card loaded, the Creator tool v1.1.0 starts up normally.
@randoker
What sort of machine are you using? -
Go to System / System / Input devices / Peripherals, and changes the settings of the CEC module.

Perhaps you can give Mr. Cook from Apple a quick call, and ask him to stop f*cking around with Airplay's functions every couple of months. Kodi has to reverse-engineer the whole Airplay workings, and probably for some odd reason, Apple is not too happy with that.
In short, it can probably be fixed (again), until Apple breaks it again.

LibreELEC's first partition has been increased to allow for bigger system files.
So on the one hand, a clean/fresh install will give you the new partition sizes, on the other hand you can try resizing the partitions manually via a Linux live tool like Gparted. (if you know what you're supposed to do).

For the log file:
HOW TO:Provide Logfile - LibreELECOption: try to connect it via ethernet cable, just to avoid any wireless driver bugs.

Preferably you want to match Kodi versions on both machines, but if you are cloning one setup to another anyway, then "it should work" (tm).

No, I don't think you missed something in the config. The 3D implementation on the RPi3 just seems more complete than that of an Intel IVB computer. It could be a 'simple' Intel driver video issue. I have the same experience with an Intel C1037UN-EU box. It's also possible not every TV has the same implementation of the 3D standards, much like CEC can work differently on various TVs.
