Perhaps your SD card is 'DOA' by now. We have thousands of RPi users by now, it's unlikely to be an image problem.
The LibreELEC USB-SD tool has also been tested extensively, so the only variable here is your SD card.
Get a different/new sd card, and try again.
Isn't the NAS not capable of running MySQL, because that would be the obvious choice here.
Running MySQL on the Wetek may have a big impact on the SDcard or NAND memory in terms of lifetime expectancy. I'd use a HDD or SSD for proper database use.

I'd say this is more a hardware question for the Odroid manufacturers.
They should be able to reply in detail what happens when an C2 device overheats.

If you install that Isengard(?) build, "OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0-Milhouse-20150905092608-#0904-g51eea0c.tar", is video display then normal again?
Otherwise you may have a broken GPU chip.
Try testing your network with the Iperf3 tool (available via the Network tools addon). Not sure if you can install/use iperf3 on your UNraid machine.
Or maybe the overall bitrate was so high that it was too much for the Chromebox CPU/GPU?
i doubt very much that refresh rates are the cause for the buffering, or Audio/Video sync. If that were the case, problems would arise immediately, not after an hour of video play. You will need to adjust your settings in the Video section of Kodi.
If problems should continue, bypass your AV receiver and connect your Chromebox directly to your television. See if that changes anything.

The module already exists. And what is the complexity of adding it to the official image?Could you please add to the official release?
In general, just because there is some hardware extension for the Odroid computer, does not mean LibreELEC is obligated to support it. Mind you, LibreELEC is not commercially linked to Odroid, nor are we Odroid employees.

Clearly you don't have any programming experience. If every problem could be solved in 15 seconds, LibreELEC would be so incredibly stable by now. Each problem has its own challenges. Some are easy to solve, others are not.
Moreover, LibreELEC is currently still in the Alpha stages with its Krypton release. That means: things break, or might not work correctly even though functionality is added.

Don't start being a smartass. There is little patience here with such people.
Enable the 'Wait for network' in the LibreELEC settings addon, so the RPi can set the clock settings correctly at boot time. Are you using a wireless network connection?
LibreELEC is, having Kodi running as its only application, meant as a 'simple' client application. And not as a full-blown file server. Samba has been implemented to be active for several reasons, not just file sharing.
Is the 'Wait for network' option enabled in the Settings Addon, just to make sure you the network connect up during boot time?

One thing: Using the /etc/fstab file is not the best solution as it will be overwritten with any upgrade (or downgrade) of LibreELEC. Either use autostart.sh with manual mount commands, or edit the smb.cnf file in /storage/.config (from the top of my head).
The underlying operating system has nothing to do with Kodi and scraping tv shows. Perhaps the TVDB.com website had a temporary problem so the scraper didn't work? Try again, or else share your kodi.log file (debugging enabled, preferably).

If there is no Update folder, you can create it via SSH by typing
mkdir /storage/.updateReboot and it should pop up between all the other shared folders in your Windows File Manager.
The Rpi-1/0 builds are there, just read the text carefully, and "select your hardware in the drop-list below:"
This droplist-'button' may need some cosmetic changes, but click on it for the list of supported hardware.
