Some more tech info would be nice...
You have a proper UHD TV or a UHD PC monitor? SD videos are usually 23.976 fps, a PC monitor does not have such low frequencies.
And where is your (debug enabled) kodi.log file?

You should be able to force a different resolution / mode with a xrandr command in the autostart.sh file.
Via System / System Settings / Display, you can select your default output display, and also the option to 'Blank other displays'.
Do you have one or more sources that are currently unreachable, going into a timeout?
Or do the HDD's of your server need to spin up and fully awake..?
Does your request require two (or more?) topics? Probably not.
Some help, and on what part exactly...?!?

If the NFS mount is for 'simple' video/music collections only, why not simply use the in-built NFS via the Kodi GUI ?
I have no manual NFS mounts, I use Kodi's own internal NFS connections.

Just brainfarting here for a moment... Is the remote library accessible after coming out of suspend?
Can it be that the "Update Library" function is triggered too fast, perhaps even before the network connection is back up (again) ?
Possibly a Kodi Estuary problem.

Also, your auto-library-update addon is failing.
Reboot, and check again.
Default Kodi or LibreELEC installs do not ping network devices.
Boxes with Sandy Bridge cpu/gpus should still work fine.
Perhaps a fresh installation will give a better result.
A testdrive via a bootable USB is one way to see if things work.
Hi all,
I have installed LibreELEC 8.0.0 on my Odroid U3 and am mostly happy with the results...
Don't start crossposting your topic all over the place. Now you have people responding in both topics. It's confusing.
Next time just ask your topic to be moved.
Problems during migration can of course results in a corrupt database.
Rename your current mysql databases, and rescan your collection into a new database. Use your fastest Kodi client to do so. The Nvidia Shield is also pretty slow with scanning IMO. After that, make a comparison between the two video databases.
MySQL error 113 suggests you have a routing error somewhere in your network. A problem with a firewall?
