Cutting out blacklisted repositories from your log files is very friendly towards us, is it?

Get rid of your "1Channel" repo and possibly other banned repositories/addons as well.
Your log file also shows no videos/music being played whatsoever, so how are we to check audio dropouts ?!?

    Code

Start with a fresh LibreELEC setup and don't install other addons. If your audio still cut off, then get back to us.
And next time, share the full log.

Basically it's not an issue as you are about the only one reporting this issue. I suggest you redo a full fresh installation, and let LibreELEC resize the storage partition on the first boot. Walk through the welcome wizard and then reboot. If you again get the setup screens, I think the SD card has a problem.

Now change a couple of settings and reboot again. If settings are still not stored, try another SD card.

Sorting files on a server is not really necessary. Files are sorted via Kodi's database when using the video library.
It can also take some time when the files on the HDDs are no yet cached in the HDDs themselves. But this is a one time thing per boot-up.

Network speed is dependent on multiple factors. Good network speed but an unstable OS (=Kodibuntu) would not be my chosing. Possibly LibreELEC is using newer network drivers that have become not fully 100% compatible with your older(?) hardware.

You seem to have loads of other repositories and/or addons installed. Some of which that are known to disrupt basic Kodi functionality. And since some of them are deemed illegal banned by the Kodi team, support will stop here.

Also, the Retrospect was not created and thus not supported by the LibreELEC or Kodi team.
I suggest you ask contact the people at rieter.net how to solve your problem.

Of course, simple JPGs will load faster than 20 Megapixel photos. What sort of photo sizes are you viewing?

Are you using a cabled network connection or wifi?

Also, don't compare a RPi with a PC. The latter one has so much more grunt in CPU power.
