In my opinion, if you use NOOBS for installing only LibreELEC, you are better off without NOOBS.
Simply use the USB/SD Creator tool and write/install LibreELEC directly onto your sd card.
As far as bugs or a hung RPi goes, please provide a debug-enabled kodi.log (and/or kodi-crashlog) file via Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002! or Ubuntu Pastebin , so we might say what goes wrong.

The link to 'autostart.sh' in that scripts page works just fine for me, so I'm a bit puzzled there.

Simple... You connect both monitors and both should display the same screen.

There is so much you can do to prevent mistakes in all shapes and forms, and ultimately end up with another bloated software product. We tried to keep things as simple as possible.
If you accidentally closed the window, simply restart it and redownload your LE build. No harm done.

There seems to be an API problem at the TVDB website.
Let's hope it gets fixed soon.

What is it? An external USB drive that connects/disconnects all the time?

SkywalkerPD I'm not doubting your current slow RPi situation, but "incredibly slow" is not a bug report we can work with. Start by providing a full debug-enabled kodi.log via pastebin.com (or similar websites). Please do not paste it directly into the forum.

Sometimes it's possible that a wifi connection gets worse if devices are too close to one another... And if you do have the choice, a wired connection is always preferable. IMO, even on a RPi3B+.
I cannot confirm/deny the AC-wifi mode, unfortunately my router is not that modern.

Perhaps we should have done that new forum sw upgrade, hehe

In my opinion, serious Kodi users are masochists who torture themselves with software that's not user friendly in order to break free from the tyranny of proprietary platforms that wont let you do what you want.
I guess you must be in a lot of pain when using Kodi on a daily basis. I don't share your opinion at all.
This topic has gone as far as it needs to go. It's time to get back to our usual business.

One more SyFy advertisement and you can take a hike.
Ah, I see it's already not the first time. Bye-bye. -

A lot of the users were just annoyed that the forum was shut down for no reason
There was a reason, but perhaps you simply didn't understand the whole concept behind it. At the same time, a lot of users did get the joke.
For what it's worth (and this is my personal opinion):
People are increasingly expecting levels of high corporate company behavior in every sense from Kodi and LibreELEC. They are forgetting that every single one of the developers and supporting staff are normal people and they are all volunteers, who don't much get freedom in taking a step back or stepping out of their normal Kodi routine for 365 days a year.
So whenever something like April Fool's comes along, and some prank is done, yes there are those 'familiar faces' that are grumbling and saying that it is either inappropriate, or bad timing, or bad humor, or whatever excuse it is they have. It's like bad television: if you don't like it, change the channel, or turn the TV off. All just because of ONE SINGLE DAY that their precious forum is unavailable. Some of us remember the days of BBS chatting, when it could takes weeks before you got a solution to a problem.
To me, it's all so typical in today's ever faster "me, myself and I" society.

Possible SD card bit rot / corruption? Try a different SD card and put on a fresh LibreELEC image.
