Gui, but was working in Coreelec
CoreELEC is a different product from LibreELEC. It has its own support forum.

So it turns out to be the same product with a different packaging.
Wow... You really did your homework.
LibreELEC is a fork, so yes, it kinda looks the same.
1GB is enough for the next 5 years...
What exact device are you trying to install LibreELEC on to? A full-blown PC, some odd Android box, a coffee machine..?
What size is the USB key?
Could you perhaps take another look into this? Something is odd for larger sized SD cards (and usb sticks?).
Updated my Wetek HUB manually via a wget direct download in the .update folder... Things seem okay with 004.
but the cp command says that the /etc directory is read-only and I can't copy files into it.
Correct. The whole system of LibreELEC is a readonly 'blob' for good reasons. :o)
Any changes or additions will have to go via the /storage (data) partition.
There were some vague reports in the past of 32GB cards being allergic to LibreELEC's installation, so if you could try a 8-16GB card, that'd be great.
Have you also updated the firmware of the USB-CEC adapter to v7 (if necessary)?
I had a small test with LE 8.90 and it all worked fine.
Okay, that is a bit weird. Just to be sure, I take it those SD cards have sufficient storage space? Or maybe, a bit too much... SD cards between 4 and 16 GB should be fine. Which exact cars are you using?
Of course you can try to install the 8.90.00. You can also try to install an earlier version 8.2.4/3/2.. and then manually upgrade to 8.2.5 or 8.90.003. Just as long as the booting works, there are options.
Which OS are you using to run the USB/SD Creator? Can you also be more specific about which error pops up? If you are on a Linux or Apple machine, you could also use the 'dd' command to transfer the .img file. (not the img.gz file)
I understand the rpi Zero is slow, but there should be some 'movement' within a single minute of booting. Otherwise, there is a problem.
You know you cannot just copy an img.gz file directly on a SD card? You can use our LibreELEC USB/SD Creator tool, and write the correct image on your SD card.
Do not start non-sense or overly vague topic, we are not fond of spamming any kind here on this forum.
When you properly stop a video first, it will write the resume time into its database.
If you yank the power cable out of the RPi3 right away, no such data will be written.
Other than that, you may have a database problem.
Provide a kodi.log file via a pastebin website near you, and we can have a look.
Skin Shortcuts..?! At least not in Kodi Leia as far as I can tell.
Just from a practical standpoint: how many times per hour/day/week/month are you planning to change the active Kodi skin? Or is Skin shortcuts about something entirely different?
The tablet market has shrunk in the last couple of years, but a couple of new tablets are coming from Samsung and Huawei.
