No, M8S Pro+ has eMMC, not NAND. Use gxl_p212_2g.dtb

That's the BUTTON
yes. A bit on the right of the middle. A paper clip works wondersstrange... if i press that button without sd card inserted i boot into recovery method but if i plug the sd card and turn on while pressing the button it keeps on mecool log and doesn't do anything!!!!

There is a reset hole under the front bottom. However, my reset button was broken on my new Mecool M8S pro.
If the reset hole doesn't work, use the "bootcard maker". Magendanz explains how to install his mod for the TV OS, but that method works for installing LibreELEC onto a microSD card, when the reset button does not work. I have installed LibreELEC, Ubuntu 16.04, and his mod using that method, with a non-functioning reset button.

when you say theres a reset hole under the front bottom i think you are trying to say there's a hole under the led position because m8s pro doesn't have any button outside!
But i find a button hidden inside thats visible at the right side of the led! is this the bottom?

i received today one mecool m8s pro 2gb/16gb whats the best way to boot libreelec on it?
there's no reset button.... i even look at AV
there's no power button
the zip method file also had no results
any ideas? or should i try terminal emulator or adb as last options?

kszaq about the previous stuttering i reported on previous build 8.1.3 i am not seing it anymore did you change something about this ob 8.1.4? Indeed i am with a new issue i use live tv throught openvpn tunnel (zomboided) and with it connected on 8.2 builds i am having macro blocking that doesnt happen on last 8.0. Any ideas?

Tried the latest 8.1.4
Its absolutely perfect, except for livetv.
I will skip v17 for this purpose as its generally accepted it's performing less then Jarvis. I have my hopes up for Leia, though.

Finish the libreelec installation on my K1 PRO, however my remote doesn't work! to make sure its not a remote problem i remove sd card and tested in android and it works just fine, does anyone here have the same problem with this device?
and yes i read:

A: Grab remote.conf file from Android firmware (it's available in /system/etc) and copy it to Configuration folder: /storage/.config over SSH or \\your_box_IP\Configuration using Windows shares. You can also put that file to main folder of your SD card. You may need to remap some buttons.but just want to make sure i made everything as expected!
