sabrina: just tried to update from OE to LibreELEC.

Just download the WeTek Play build from downloads – LibreELEC
and then follow the instructions from HOW TO:Update LibreELEC - LibreELEC

For my box it worked like a charm.

Have you tried, to download it again?
Maybe it got corrupted on download or download aborted unexpectedly.
