Before you ask you should read back a little...
I read but my question is still unanswered. I did not understand if kszaq is working on LE 9 community builds or next official builds for amlogic.
I understood that official amlogic builds will be generic and won't be updated frequently as community builds are now.
That's why I said "sounds not good"...
-
This simply means that I will no longer work on these builds. I might release an update to 8.2.3 but without any additional Amlogic-specific updates or improvements.
I am currently working on improving Amlogic support in LibreELEC and Kodi master.
mmm...sounds not good for us.
What do you mean for "improving Amlogic support in LibreELEC"?
Thanks

Where can I find a C2 with honest price? It seems that it's impossible to find one...

I have a couple bugs with 801k & 801l.
First is the libreElec config addon under "System", there is no information to select (completely blank). Normally you would be able to do backups and such. This started with "k" and continued to "l".
delete the custom channel in
Userdata/addon_data/service.libreelec.settings/oe_settings.xml -
when I go to Settings -> Libreelec -> the System tab is blank.
Is there a way to reset the settings from ssh?
I setted a custom update channel and now it doesn't open anymore.
[hr]solved by deleting the custom channel in
Userdata/addon_data/service.libreelec.settings/oe_settings.xmlIt worked for me also. But, If I insert again a custom channel, the whole "system" screen goes blank again. It happens since k release. Any idea of why?

According popcornmix the bug should be fixed in firmware, distributed with 8.0.1
Thank you. What I don't know is if updating to 8.0.1 also the firmware is automatically updated or I have to update the firmware manually.
Thanks -
updating to 8.0.1 keeps the old firmware or also the firmware will be new? Thanks

No difference in image functionality, only built using 64bit toolchain (after all S905/S905X is a 64bit machine).
I assume the 64 mem leak is fixed, ... Of course, 64bit takes more RAM. But then, I have 2GB RAM.
Also, 64bit will (unlike 32bit) not support certain 32bit addons (which may not have their 64 equivalent).
All addons I personally need work, and some I build up to date myself (they are to be found same URL location).
One reason why I keep running 64bit is because I have a chroot in which I maintain a stage3 64bit gentoo linux system. Thanks for the explaination

For people who for some reason want to try 64bit 8.0.0f : LE – Google Drive
LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-8.0-devel-20170316170002-r25706-g166816a.img.gz
[built verbatim from kszaq repository]
The addons are not updated (same git hash as 8.0.0e)
DVB-TV (pvr.hts client + tvheadend42 server) zapping and audio sync feel faster. So does GUI.Sorry, which is the difference between 32bit and 64bit versions?

If you have spare buttons on your remote, you can edit remote.conf to include the key "o". Also, it should be passible to use the keymap editor addon to assign the function "PlayerProcessInfo".See: Add-on:Keymap Editor - Official Kodi Wiki
Even more information during playback is shown with ctrl-shift-o and ctrl-shift-d.
Can I use remote.conf to map the mouse buttons of the attached remote? How?
Thanks -
Press the "o" key during playback.Thank you... so I need a keyboard

How can I view the information screen shown in the post above mine?

Hi, is this "fix" reversible to go back to 60Hz? How? Thanks
Sorry if I submit the question again: what does tihs command do? Does it fix the frequency to 50Hz forever or I can still change it by kodi settings menu?
Thank you for replyEdit: I found the answer. Thanks anyway

Franco - I had a similar query regarding default frame rate. As it should be 50Hz for European users (who use TV), rather than 60Hz. See post #509 for details.
The "fix" is to modify the u-boot settings by telnet/ssh into the box and issuing the following:

Hi, with this build on my TX5 pro the option "Update library on startup" doesn't work. With 7.0 it worked. Why?
Thanks -
Removed in Krypton.
Thank you for information.
It's a bad news, it was very useful for me!Edit: I read that the option is still present in RPi builds.
Why has it been removed in amlogic builds?
