Thanks for fast fix for Fr and vc-1, I will try it.
Have a nice time! I send to you a cocktail :)

So I tried, everything played at the good frequency, but only a little error.
when I play after 29.97,59.94 movie 30 or 60 fps, then isn't switch from 59.94 to 60, need to play 24 or 50 fps movie, and then play 30 or 60 fps movie to proper 60Hz sync. (the webui stay 59.94 too after playing 29.97,59.94 movies instead 60Hz need play files or switch fps to 24,or50hz.)
23.97-24 fps files always setted up correctly.
Maybe 1/1.001 frame rate switch isn't set back when stop playing 29.97 or 59.94 files and go back to 60fps gui, what remain 59.97fps

I also observe stutter/lags when subtitles displays in libreelec 8.01 (b. c , d).. just like  envagyok observe in his thread named 'Stuttering movies with subtitles with LE8' .check envagyok logs..when stutter observed...

    I copy here too:

I play test files with MiniMX LE 7.0.12j on nand and 8.0.1d on sd with this results:
    LE8.0.1d:
gui set to 60Hz, but avr show 59 (bad)
23.97 fps movie play az 23.97Hz (good)
24 fps movie played at 23.97 too!!! (bad)
25 fps movie at 50Hz (good)
30 fps movie at 59.97hz (bad)
    29.97fps movie at 59.97 (good)
60 fps movie at 59.97 (bad)
    50 fps at 50Hz (good)

    LE 7.0.12j:
gui set to 60Hz avr show 60Hz (good)
23.97 fps movie played at 23.97hz (good)
24 fps movie played at 24hz (good)
25 fps movie at 50hz (good)
29.97 fps movie at 60hz (not good)
30 fps movie at 60hz (good)
50 fps movie at 50hz (good)
59.97 fps movie at 60hz (not good)
60 fps movie at 60hz (good)

For comparison and understanding the same files with LE8.0.1 and Raspberry pi2b :
    60hz gui at 60 (good)
    23.97 at 23.97 (good)
    24 at 24 (good)
    25 at 50 (good)
    29.97 at 59.97 (good)
    30 at 60 (good)
    50 at 50 (good)
    59.97 at 59.97 (good)
    60 at 60 (good)

I play test files with LE 7.0.12j on nand and 8.0.1d on sd with this results:
    LE8.0.1d:
gui set to 60Hz, but avr show 59 (bad)

25 fps movie at 50Hz (good)
30 fps movie at 59.97hz (bad)
    29.97fps movie at 59.97 (good)
60 fps movie at 59.97 (bad)
    50 fps at 50Hz (good)

    LE 7.0.12j:
gui set to 60Hz avr show 60Hz (good)
23.97 fps movie played at 23.97hz (good)
24 fps movie played at 24hz (good)
25 fps movie at 50hz (good)
29.97 fps movie at 60hz (not good)
30 fps movie at 60hz (good)
50 fps movie at 50hz (good)
59.97 fps movie at 60hz (not good)
60 fps movie at 60hz (good)

same files with LE8.0.1 and Raspberry pi2b :
    60hz gui at 60 (good)
    23.97 at 23.97 (good)
    24 at 24 (good)
    25 at 50 (good)
    29.97 at 59.97 (good)
    30 at 60 (good)
    50 at 50 (good)
    59.97 at 59.97 (good)
    60 at 60 (good)

One movie stutter again after an hour.
    here is the log:
    gbeF

    I have other observation too:
The gui refresh rate setted to 60Hz, but my avr informed me, it is only 59.97
And when I played back 60 fps videos then played back as 59.97 too.
I reboot to 7.0.12j and there gui is 60Hz and 60fps video play at correct 60hz
    with the latest 8.0.1d
Before (I don't know exactly when checked last time) it was 60Hz, and playback was 60fps

    log:
    VHXK

maybe the 1/1.001 fps hack isn't switch off?
with fps 23.97,29.97,and 59.97 needed, but 24,50,60 not

After 278 posts on this forum, you should know by now that such a small problem description does at least need a full kodi.log, as well as some info on your setup, such as AV receivers and other possible hardware.

Also inevitable, did you check up video and audio sync options?

I dont think it helps, but the needed infos:
    TV: LG 55EG910V (oled)
    AVR: Onkyo TX-NR555
Player : S905 MiniMX nand libreelec 7.0.3.12j, and sd card 8.0.1c
    AVR show 23fps

With LE8 playback is fine, but just when subtitle displayed
But i now restart my player, and its repaired.
I will serve log, when i see stutter again.

What does Armbian have to do with my builds? I would understand that kind of post if it was something usable for LE, otherwise you only confuse users suggesting that 4.9 kernel is available. It is not. Amlogic provided sources is a work-in-progress, mainline kernel is a work-in-progress. It's not anything usable for us yet.

Sorry, I think it is already usable.
The VC-1 patch will you add your next build?

I tonight try to watch a movie with latest 8.0.1b installed to SD
    the video info is:
    MPEG-4 AVC Video 23998 kbps 1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1

The playback wasn't smooth, I try restart, but no luck.
my avr info button report 24fps for the movie playback.

Then I restart to nand, where is the latest 7.0.3.012J version of LE, and try play this movie again.
This version played perfect the movie with the correct 23.97 fps, my avr report 23fps.

I think with this new version something wrong with 23.97/24 switch

I have problem with all VC-1 23.97 coded mkv.
It's look like sometimes little bit stuttering the video when played.
Many BD disc has this coding to videos. For example: 2fast2furios serial.
This problem affected by every version of Libreelec for Amlogic. Raspberry Pi play this files perfectly.
When needed I can upload samples.
Can we hope to fix this error?

    here is kodi sample file:
