I have wetek play as tvheadend server. With wired network connect to my minimx as tvheadend client.
When the Audio stream of channels is mp2,mp3,aac, the no problem, but when I see channel with ac3, then every minutes is 1-2 times a short half second drop hearable. When I record the channel, while see with drops, and play back later, then no drops.
Log include, first I see live channel (what always has some audio drop independent I just see, or record while I see), then I play back recorded stream.

the difference from live TV and recorded video is the format.
Live TV streaming profile htsp, and isn't changeable
    Record profile is mkv.
With htsp profile isn't record the server, and with ts pass profile same result as mkv.

    Hi chbmuc,

Some short video sample would be appreciated to reproduce the issue and help fix the issue in Kodi permanently.

    Thank you.

With all Hungarian hd dvb-t channels I have this problem too.
    Resolution is 1440*1080I 50Hz
Displayed with 4:3, but this is 16:9

I have problem with 5.1 DD too. 2-3 times every minute dropped the sound for a half sec.
When I switch to aac audio or mp3, then no drop.
Dolby Digital I use with bitstream.
When needed I can provide sample video tomorrow

You may be right, I have no way to check it. If this is confirmed by other users, I can modify channel map for future builds.

I play channel_test_lpcm_7.1.mkv with my 5.1 system, and the surround channels I hear from the correct position.
So I can not confirm this.
My setup onkyo Tx-nr555 with 5.1 system
Edit: I try with 7.1auditionOutLeader v2.wav, and sounds good too.

Maybe swapped the left Surround with the left rear Surround, and the right Surround with the right rear Surround. I cannot test it with 5.1 system.

The Dolby TrueHD test sound you hear with bitstream or decode to pcm?

Maybe you failed with reverted connect the speakers?

    Here is older build... 7.0.2.003
    DVB WORKS (VDR, TVHEADEND)

With alex's libreelec, the automatic off/on work, but sometimes cec isn't functional (randomly), has not driver support extra dvb-t and dvb-s dongles, what work with kszaq's build.
And i observed some network probleme with wired network (with alex build). Streaming channels to other tvheadend clients isnt smooth. Many time buffering, paused, etc. (sd,and hd broadcasting too) Maybe driver, or buffering problem.
    So Kszaq-s build more-more useable.

With latest developer (08-30) work well the 4k resolution, and the gui much faster as 006. :) , but at livetv the preview mode is zoomed out, and just a part of pic can i see.
With 1440*1080 16:9 streams distorted too.

The 1440*1080 tv channels with the latest 006 version has faulty aspect ratio view (4:3), but with manual it can set to 16:9, then good.

I've tested it. Flac and also WAV (both in 44.1) are also upsampled to 48k – the same result as it is with my mp3.
It seems, that is has something to do with my MQX-Pro-4K. It's amazing; I thought it has the same Chipset than the mini mx.

PS: The sound quality from the upsampled 48k output is not bad, but the upsampling reduce the sound quality (not massive but you can hear it after a while).

With what av receiver use it?

I'm running version 7.0.2.006 on a MQX-Pro-4K (S905 Chipset). It runs perfectly, so many thanks for the great work to kszaq!

The only problem I have, is that music with a 44.1kHz bitrate is upsampled to 48k on the SPDIF output (I guess also on HDMI, but I can’t test). It’s independent of the Kodi audio settings (I tried nearly everything: 44.1 fixed and best mach (German 'beste übereinstimmung), with and without passthrough, all audio drivers for output, HDMI port connected and disconnected, ...).

I’m I doing something wrong or is this a general problem?

I try with mini mx and hdmi output.
It worked for me with flac source, switch to correct sample rate. I try with 44.1,48,88.2,96,192kHz.
Only I have trouble with multichannel 5.1 flac, that's not played, stay silent. And DSD isn't played too good q. It's noisy
