1st build link fixed.. thanks..
build is same as 28.09.2017 only kodi changed (updated to version 1bca509)
Ok, then all it's fine! Netflix works well within 720p, maybe the future will bring 1080p.

Something weird with latest build, it's the same like 28.09.2017? Can you check if there's something wrong with the uploads? Anyway, first OP shows the same img for S905 and S912.
A change on the netflix side. I updated it and Netflix works again for me.
Yeap, a forced manual update to vxxx25 did the trick. Netflix works again! Gracias amigo!
Thanks, I will try this evening. Netflix add-on doesn't work anymore. Something wrong with inputstream?
kszaq give a look on my previous post please!
If you forgot to use a new device tree or used wrong one and your device doesn't boot:
In testing v.7 S905 netflix addon latest version couldn't be loaded, one/some dependencies were missing. Downgrading to version xxx.13 solved the issue. Keep building, pls.!
Works like a charm! Good job like... always! Thanks kszaq ! Cofee money soon!
Hi,
Upgraded to 8.0.2.c but rolled back to 8.0.2.b. Samba connection error, even after restarts. Power menu lighter, with only 4 options?!
Weird fact, no more darker menu in 8.0.2.c (still MM kernel, I believe).
Maybe next iteration will be ok for me!
Hi, I''ve cropped some samples, not quite super art. FN- Frankenstein Nougat kernel ; MM- Marshmallow kernel
For me, FN's better for S905x SoC.
In the "mm" build the colors are not consistent. Sometimes, on a given sample clip, they are normal, sometimes washed out and sometimes overly saturated.
I've played several HDR and non-HDR HEVC Kodi sample videos. Sony's HDR Camp clip, for example triggers the oversaturation on other (Patagonia) sample. If I play "The Life of Pi" or Astra's video — they restore the colors to normal.
Sometimes Sony's camp looks more realistic and sometimes too reddish, but the HDR effect always presents.
Yeap, something like that but I didnt explain in a techsavyy manner Oh, well, I will wait for full Nougat kernel (my box it's S905x so MM kernel maybe not a good choice right now).
Ok, I"ll get back with some pics, not tonight, it's the UEFA League's Final , and I"ve already restored 8.0.1l build (Nougat). Yeah, you are wright, the colors are too dark not washed out. Not a native English speaker, my bad.
Sorry, 8.0.1l-mm build doesn't work for me. Krypton colors are just beautiful on Nougat kernel. Or just normal. On MM kernel they look washed out. Yes, the GUI it is faster on 8.0.1l-mm but colors are too dark. So I'll go forward with builds with Nougat kernel.
Hi everyone!
About [8.0.1b] LibreELEC 8.0 for S905/S905X
No more darker screen on boot, much more pleasant colors on movies (vivid colors mode I should say). Analog audio output better than digital output (clear sound) on soundbar - before I didn't notice a difference. Something weird, no system freezing/crashing after this update, all LE 8 updates were plagued by crashes who fixed themselves after reboots.
Hi, did you rename the tree "gxbb_p200_2G_100M.dtb" to "dtb.img" and overwrite the same file from sd card?
Did you tried another usb flash/sd card?
If you did that already try instead this tree wifi tree.
Just try and see if its working.
Hi folks,
I've done the update to 8.0.0.e. Couple of issues:
- the update process took a little longer for my patience;
- the box kicked me out a few times after navigating through GUI;
- lost video signal first and then the sound after playng some videos on Youtube;
- I had to cut the power after the box lost video signal.
After I did reboot to nand and reboot to libreelec, all the issues were gone. Streaming was going smoothly, Estuary it is faster than never. By the way, the temperature on the box has decreased with at least 10 degrees Celsius (I"ve started with 42 degrees C and after watching a movie, after 2 h the temp was only 52 degrees). Usually, I was getting 64-68 degrees C.
Dont know if its because I'm using the GPU at 744Mhz all the time or there is something with this build.
Nice work!
Thank you, it works very well some crash
You are welcome! "Some crash" it's a minor problem for libreelec on S912 Soc. Until last week there was no hope to use LE on S912 "space ships".
So, be glad that something works! Buy kszaq a coffee and maybe in a few months you will get better and stable builds!
Hi kszaq,
I see you"ve updated the device tree. I run LE 7/ 7.0.3.012j with device tree from 23.01.2017. It's there something new if I update the device tree only?
