does it only work on Gemini Lake?

Its Intels fault as they keep using LSPCON. Gemini Lake was only SoC with native HDMI2.0 in this format.
From the patches it looks like they are working on getting LSPCON working with HDR but when is the question and it may not work on all NUCs.
If only LE merged the patches that make it work on Gemini lake so that if you do have it then you can continue to use the latest builds.
i ordered a NUC8 i3 but cancelled after seeing this thread
good to see progress on LSPCON HDR but wont buy until its working as my NUC6 works fine just does not do HDR
More information is needed
Make and model of your AVR and TV and how they are connected
Model of your NUC
Exact versions of LIbreelec you are referring to
Supply logs (upload to appropriate site)
Yesterdays nightly fixed the issue I tried version from last week and there was still no sound.
if any newer versions break sound again I will open new thread with more info and logs.
Hey
So the Intel Generic veta builds no longer have any sound.
This has been the case for all builds in the last 2 months but the release BETA works fine.
When you go to Sound settings only device listed is PULSE audio and you cant select anything else.
This is on 6th Gen NUC.
are the nightly builds based on kodi 18.4?
Will this release be the same as todays nightly build?
ignore me i got my answer thanks all
To my knowledge they currently build LE 9.0.2, which implements Kodi 18.2. 9.0-devel should be the nightly builds for that version.
A good logic is (don't know if they do so):
LE 9.0.x implements Kodi 18.x
LE 9.1.x implements Kodi 19.x
Yeah that makes sense.
So are there any nightlies for LE 9.0.x?
Only ones I see are for LE 9.1
That is LE9.1 (Kodi 18 - yeah I know it's confusing) not Kodi19
I'm not even sure Kodi 19 has a name yet let alone a code base.
If you look at the thread I posted he states Kodi 19. Called Matrix.
Confused: LE9 is Kodi 18
Is Millhouse using the wrong LE version then?
libreelec-generic.x86_64-9.1-nightly-20190501-6f2af43.img.gz
Those are called 9.1 but based off Kodi 19
Hi all
Are there any nightly builds of LE 9 for generic devices?
I know Milhouse did builds but since Kodi 18 merged he has moved onto Kodi 19 builds but I am wanting to stay on Kodi 18 but get latest updates.
Thanks
Hi
I upgraded my router and now if I am using 5ghz wifi on channel 50 or higher LE will no longer connect.
Instead it crashes. On boot gets stuck on black screen with mouse pointer right after boot screen.
Never had issues before.
Cant grab logs as no wifi during crash.
same here since update windows browsing of LE broken
Nope disable add ons made no difference.
Might try fresh install of LE.
You could have the NAS do the database work for you.
Should your NUC freeze again, then the video/music databases are safe.
Already doing that
Got Kodi using my NAS DB.
I saw this in logs:
"GetDirectory - Error getting description"
Could it be NFS issue?
