An M2 Drive - Holds about 1tb within an Intel NUC.
I have upgraded a few times to Kodi 21 and then back to Kodi 20 when i find that some of the addon compatibility is still a bit janky. I wonder if thre are problems in db migrations taking place.

1) Is always a possibility.
How are 2 & 3 possible ?
I might dig into the DB viewer and have a browse around next time it corrupts.
Hi All,
I posted this a few weeks ago LE 11.01 Suddenly started booting to safe mode - General Support - LibreELEC Forum whereby i ended up just resolving my performin a full clean install and manually rebuilding my database from scratch.
I've taken precautions and now backup weekly but even since then and within the time, i've had two more corruption failures of MyVideos121.db. Luckily the backup function works great and it then seems to keep LE up for another week or so but then inevitably this fails again.
Is there any diagnostics i can do to look at what could be causing this corruption, anything i could check etc?
Is it worth even trying a Kodi 21 upgrade to a nightly if there's any DB changes?
All help is appreciated,
Thanks
Yeah it's the skin i'm using - they're due to upgrade so hopefully the spam will disappear.
Over in the Kodi forum they told me it wasn't due to UPnP - i do use this to stream out my other smart tvs.
Hi i'm wondering if anyone can help me with the two errors i'm seeing in my log below
2023-04-24 11:28:10.857 T:1946 error <general>: GetDirectory - Error getting /storage/repos/
2023-04-24 11:27:57.367 T:1821 error <general>: DBus error: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown - The name org.freedesktop.UPower was not provided by any .service files
I think they're more LibreElec errors than kodi errors but can't seem to find a way to clear them out.
Here's a link to the full log https://gist.github.com/sunlollyking/8…b818ec811391f44
I'm gutted but i think i might have to do a clean install and then try and restore as much as i can because there doesn't seem to be anyway to get out of safe mode.
Mglae - Deliberately left everything this time and rebooted 2/3 times and still safe mode
HiassofT here's my output

Do I have any options at all or do I have to just fully reinstall?
I've removed the files above and restarted but it doesn't feel like libreelec is trying to get out of safe mode. Happy to provide anything else if it would help
Sorry i should have clarified - I did rename it myself.
Cool, i'll try this. I was hesitant to clear out any of the DB files just because of recovery?
It may boot but i'm guessing my corrupted DB means i'll have to rescrape in some files ?
Ok i tried both of the above one after each other and it still seems to be booting into safe mode.
Are my logs highlighting anything else that could be of note? It does seem that my LE boots into safe mode incredibly quickly so not sure if it's perhaps skipping checks ?
I deleted all of the MyVideos* from the directory listed and then deleted .kodi and renamed my .kodi_FAILED and then rebooted.
Any help is much appreciated
Just removed the .kodi folder - renamed the .kodi_FAILED folder back to .kodi and rebooted and it immediately goes into safe mode without going through the boot loop at all.
When i look into .kodi_FAILED there's no crashlogs that have been created and the .kodi log's last update was from yesterday.
At a bit of a loss as to what to do next.
Awesome i'll give it a shot!
Going to reraise this in general support
Hey - here's my log https://paste.kodi.tv/misevoxone.kodi
And the crashlog from the last time it was working https://paste.kodi.tv/ohazonizaf.kodi
I've been running some of the nightly builds and then suddenly i turn on my Intel NUC and find that its booted into safe mode, and there's no way i can get it back to the main install. I haven't changed anything so it feels quite strange as it's been working brilliantly. I downgraded back to 11.01 and i'm still getting the same error.
If anyone can help that'd be much appreciated.
Couple questions.
I posted up yesterday in the official Kodi forum as my LE11 build seems to play HDR content which looks like it lacks that HDR pop i'd expect when compared to my TVs inbuilt player. My device is HDR compliant, and the file is not DV. My log file is in this forum post here
How best to tweak my video quality LG C9 (LibreElec 11) (kodi.tv)
Hoping to get some help and have a few questions answered also!
Will the above build potentially fix some of my issues and i'm keen to know how i can force bt2020.
Is there a list of work (DV outstanding) that needs to be completed for LE to be considered HDR complete ?
Do you know when there could be the next build posted?
Thanks again for all the work!
I've just installed a pulse-eight adapter to my 10th gen NUC. I'm not sure if it's connected as i'm fairly sure i've saw these before but i've definitely noticed it more now.
On certain kodi components, certain videos i see these green artefacts, sometimes they pop in as pixels, other times like lines across the screen.
Posting this here but given there are some videos i may never see it i'm thinking it could be a kodi issue but genuinely don't know at this stage. I've attached a video just for further info. The video is taken just from the kodi settings page.
