Just in case anyone googles this in future.
My fix was to cycle down the power of EVERYTHING on the tv including the tv.
Pull out the HDMIs
Slowly cycle devices back up one by one and make sure SIMPLINK is enabled on the TV and quickstart + is disabled.
TV will recognise the device as KODI when you power it on and after a few seconds plug in the HDMI
LG TVs are a flakey nightmare essentially.
Hi i'm running LE 12 and after doing a big wipe and reboot including pulling some cables from my tv i seem to have borked my seemingly rock solid CEC support i had on my HTPC.
I'm using an Intel NUC with a pulse eight adapter thats pressed onto the board, that's not been touched at all.
Now when starting kodi - it looks like the Pulse Eight tries to connect and then eventually this says connection lost with my remote never having connected. It also takes so much longer to switch to this specific input 30-40 seconds than it previously did.
Its tough because when i reconnected my HTPC my TV started trying to do the device auto connector and classed it as a blu ray player. I'm not sure if my issue is with the tv or with the HTPC and libcec, not sure if anyone with an LG OLED is able to help say how they've got their HTPC set up and what the tv recognises the box as.
I did see a message just before too saying that the firmware of libcec could be upgraded and to check out the pulse-eight blog but i couldn't see anything
I'm running libcec version 4.0.7.
Just checking if anyone has seen this issue before if not i'll get an issue raised and a debug log posted.
Essentially anytime i play a 4k HDR video there will be no audio. To get audio, i have to enable passthrough, wait a second, then disable passthrough and everything will work fine going forward. It's a bit of an odd one i've just dealt with the last few months.

Ok i'm sort of following - Even if it used a new parser where is it managing to pull these repos from and is there any way to remove them from the logs ?
Is this the global addon.xml or is it an addon specific addon.xml ?
Huh how is IPTV simple banned ? I downloaded it from the Kodi/LE repo?

Im currently browsing the Addons33.db
I can see the repos from the log in the addons table but they don't show up in the installed table.
Thats the problem here is they are giving me errors in the logs but as far as i can see everywhere they're not installed

I have upgraded a few times to Kodi 21 and then back to Kodi 20 when i find that some of the addon compatibility is still a bit janky. I wonder if thre are problems in db migrations taking place.

How are 2 & 3 possible ?
I might dig into the DB viewer and have a browse around next time it corrupts.
Hi All,
I posted this a few weeks ago LE 11.01 Suddenly started booting to safe mode - General Support - LibreELEC Forum whereby i ended up just resolving my performin a full clean install and manually rebuilding my database from scratch.
I've taken precautions and now backup weekly but even since then and within the time, i've had two more corruption failures of MyVideos121.db. Luckily the backup function works great and it then seems to keep LE up for another week or so but then inevitably this fails again.
Is there any diagnostics i can do to look at what could be causing this corruption, anything i could check etc?
Is it worth even trying a Kodi 21 upgrade to a nightly if there's any DB changes?

Yeah it's the skin i'm using - they're due to upgrade so hopefully the spam will disappear.
Over in the Kodi forum they told me it wasn't due to UPnP - i do use this to stream out my other smart tvs.

I'm gutted but i think i might have to do a clean install and then try and restore as much as i can because there doesn't seem to be anyway to get out of safe mode.

Do I have any options at all or do I have to just fully reinstall?
I've removed the files above and restarted but it doesn't feel like libreelec is trying to get out of safe mode. Happy to provide anything else if it would help
