Yes, but... does this code work again?
#!/bin/sh<br><br><br><br>echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb
Thanks
All test builds removed, fix has been integrated in 8.2.1.2 build for both S905 and S912.
Hi kszaq,
just installed your new release 8.2.1.2 in my S912.
I missed something. How do I activate the option to force the RGB setting?
Thanks
Magnum
OOps
Yet again I prove although a native English speaker, I don't read things properly.
No problem...
Yes, gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_OTG_Port.dtb is the correct device tree for the Beelink M18
Thanks for the answer.
Magnum
The option stopped working after the switch to a newer kernel version in 8.0.1b and works again since 8.0.1c. Please leave your autostart.sh the way it is
Thank you mmpp.
Also for the RGB trick...

Hi guys,
I'm in testing with LE via USB with my S912 Mecool BB2 Pro Tv Box and LE work very well.
Anyway I've just bought the Beelink M18 S905 Tv Box and I 'd like to test LE via USB.
Specs:
Brand: Beelink
Model: M18
System: Android 5.1
CPU: Amlogic S905 Quad Core
GPU: Mali-450
RAM: 2G Type: DDR3
ROM: 16G
So the question: what kind of device tree should I choose?
This one "gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit.dtb" or gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_OTG_Port.dtb ?
In M18 there is an OTG port... you can see here.
Logically I should use the gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_OTG_Port.dtb
It is so?
Thanks
Magnum
Hi and thanks for your work.
A question about the changelog of new version 8.0.1c:
what does "re-enabled output_rgb" mean?
I ask you this because I've the RGB problem with my Philips TV.
For now I've solved with the advice of mmpp to force RGB output with this command in autostart.sh
Quote
#!/bin/shecho 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb
Now with new release 8.0.1c It's not necessary anymore?
Thanks.
kszaq
thank you for this new release.
To all:
where does LE save wi-fi password and network share?
Thanks.
Magnum
In Libreelec, go to the Libreelec configuration, then network? connections? disconnect, then reconnect to 5Ghz
Ok...it works.
Thank you very much.
Magnum
Ok, I've changed the name of 2.4 & 5 wi-fi. On Android I see both of them and connect only in 5 ghz.
Then reboot in LE.
But in LE I see only the 2.4 wi-fi.
Magnum
Mine did & still has the same SSID. I just went into the settings & set them up separately with same SSID's but different names.
Ok... I found the possibility to edit the name of wi-fi 2.4 and 5 in my router.
Later I try.
Thanks again...
Magnum
I have setup my router, so it has two different named bands, 2.4 & 5, then in android, choose the 5GHZ, when you boot into Libreelec, it should pick it up.
Thanks for reply.
Unfortunately I cannot set my router with different name bands. The SSID is the same for 2.4 and 5.
Other solutions?

Hi all,
a question about wi-fi: is it possible to force LE to use 5 GHZ wi-fi?
The 2.4 GHz band around me is sometimes disturbed.
My Mecool BB2 Pro with his original Android firmware supports both 2.4 and 5 ghz (AC).
Thanks.

Three movies and nothing green screen.
Before applying the patch after a while green screen.
Anyway when I saw green screen the first time I tried the echo command via Putty and Tv goes to normal.

What about force rgb mode in this alpha build?I see this file but with strange permissions:
--w--w---- 1 root root 4096 Mar 16 21:55 output_rgb
LibreELEC:/sys/devices/virtual/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0 # cat output_rgb
cat: read error: Input/output errorAnd this code below in autostart.sh doesn't work too:
It worked for me.
Magnum
I tested the new Alphapreview4 on my Mecool BB2 Pro.
It works great. No wi-fi problems posted some days ago. Maybe there was a problem with my Wi-Fi. Or you have fix something.
I'll test it more in the next days.
Thanks kszaq for your work.
Magnum
Hi,
I tried "Alpha-preview3" on my MECOOL BB2 PRO Android 6.0 TV Box 3GB DDR4 via USB.
Replace dtb.img with one provided by kszaq.
- Wi-Fi works but it's slow (sometimes buffering) and image and voice not sync (after some minutes from video start).
- Remote works;
- Random restarts;
- Kodi works well.
Thanks kszaq.

Early days on this, but good progress given the lack of drivers. Thanks, kszaq.Apart from the crashing thing, GUI performance is excellent now.
Still can't access my NAS's shared folder through CIFS/SMB. All the settings are right at both ends. Works fine on other LibreElec boxes. Error Code 2. Any clues?
