Any chance this version will be "upgradeable" with a file in some folder?
Also MAME2010 is not working with my 2010 roms(they work well in windows), but MAME2003 is working great with the roms it support

its hard to identify so many good games without an image and some info. For my AV needs I already have Coreelec and it works really good on the S912

Batocera its is own thing, and it works great for what it is, but I find it overly complicated for what I want, a simple almost boot and play kinda system, I know its not there yet, but still trying to reach that stage.

Sorry I've been very busy to update this, I've moved most of the code to another project, you can find it on my github profile (can't link it here),but it still not finished.
djoni_w can you open an issue on github and we can try and find a solution there, is easier that way. Also very interested in that script you made.
SumavisionQ5 yes I plan to update it but not sure when, and not sure if it will be using LE as the base I use is no longer being updated. Also reicast no longer compiles for me, so I might need to fiddle around it some more to even consider updating it.

Are you still working on this? I just tried the S912 exp. version on my mecool bb2pro and it runs fine, just not sure how to add roms via windows
You should be able to access the "Roms" folder from the network shares in windows.

I found a solution. In autostart.sh add this line "pactl load-module module-udev-detect" but it breaks all other sound in all emulators.
but for the sounds of the emulators to run it is only to go in Retroarch in Settings after Driver and change audio driver to "pulse".
Worked for me.
That was a know "fix" but it breaks all other sounds, including Video, PPSSPP, Dreamcast, etc. RA works when as you mentioned select Pulse, but the sound is not as good, or I found it a bit weird. So for me it was not really worth it.

Unfortunately it was removed with all the uproar that it caused on the other builds, and since I am mostly in line with those updates well it got removed here as well, you can copy them manually if you want, but keep in mind I provide no support for this as it might still be dangerous.

Sounds/Music from video previews in ES work just fine for me.
I think he means theme sounds, some themes have sound effects when you scroll, switch or run games, etc. those do not work. Audio from videos works fine.

I messed up some fixes and I had to do a re-upload, I also added a way to reset defaults for Emulators, Kodi or everything, this way if you have a problem when you update, but you still want to keep your Kodi settings/addons you can just reset the emulators
without (hopefully) doing a clean install. I also updated most Libretro cores. -
niabi, mame2003-plus(GitHub - libretro/mame2003-plus-libretro: Updated 2018 version of MAME (0.78) for libretro. with added game support plus many fixes and improvements) has been added to libretro's github, and it indeed is a good alternative to original mame2003. Could you add it to your sx05re bulid as an option of mame cores?

Off topic: this thread title is Sx095RE v1.8.5 Emulationstation+Lakka+Kodi, is Sx095RE a typo? What's sx05re short for? Since now it supports S912, is it time to change the project's name for more supporting boards?
(I just notice the is a typo on the title xD ) Sx05 as you know stands for S905 and S805, RE stands for Retro Edition (for the emulation part) I admit not the best name, but at the time that was my first choice since I only really worked on those 2 boards (one really, S905 as it was the only one I had)
Never thought of changing the name as this is not really a big project, not many users, not many contributors. But if anyone has any good ideas I am more than willing to change it to fit other boards

Thanks for the tip, it works but switch to 1080p is not a definitive solution as I have to set up overscan.
Overscan in kodi is ok but not apply in ES.
Is there anyway to get a resolution above 1080p in PPSSPP ?
PS : btw exact 4K resolution is 4096X2160
first if you can SSH to your box, can you type:
fbset
and post the output?
Then try removing the fbset lines from 9 to 57 on autostart.sh
As you can see there is no option for 4k, so I am assuming its setting it to a lower resolution at launch and giving you problems.

The box is a beelink mini mxIII II and tv is 4k but display is 3840x2160p
When I launch a psp game from es, display switch directly to weird resolution.
OK I think I now exactly why, but not sure tm how to fix it yet.

That is the CPU, I need information as to what box (brand, model, etc) and what TV resolution (720p, 1080p. 4k, etc) My main box has a S905x CPU and I use a 1080p TV and I do not have this problem, so there is something else that we need to consider.
