Sure ethernet is working and activated in settings (dhcp/fixed IP)? Ethernet-cable in order?
-
Have you enabled the [wait for network] option in libreelec settings on your PC?
-
Ok, there is the section where error occours. But to see what's maybe wrong, we must see the whole log. Please don't post the log here, use the last item in Libreelec-Settings>>System>>[Log] to upload the log-file, and post url.

No known issue imo, but it would be helpful to upload the log file, to take a look of it.

But no need to spend too much time on that, the info that the issue doesn't always occur was already helpful! |
It's probably rather random if you get that issue or not - after all if there's a fight between 2 configuration services it's not good and the easy solution is to just disable lirc in LE settings.
Think so too. Disable 'lirc' in settings, reboot and everything is fine for me...
Seems to be a flip-flop on boot between booth lirc-services.

It would be great if someone plagued by double-presses could do a few tests on 8.1.0, maybe that'll give some clues about why that happens:
Enable lirc in LE settings, reboot, then run the following commands:
It's strange. I have activated 'lirc', reboot, and the error with double commands no longer occurs. But if I now deactivate 'lirc' again, irc no longer works, so I have to activate 'lirc' in settings now. o0
Here still my logs:
Codewith activated 'lirc' http://sprunge.us/dGVU http://sprunge.us/GEGS with deactivated 'lirc' http://sprunge.us/KMgd http://sprunge.us/YPjR
Looks as if the error only happens at the first reboot after update.

Lirc shouldn't be enabled by default, you have to manually turn that on.
If it behaved differently on your setup it would be great if you could post steps how to reproduce this.
[...]Nothing special, I just update LE v8.0.2MR through the le-addon. After reboot the entry 'lirc' was present and active.
My device: Zotac Zbox ci321nano with LE x86_64_generic -
Then it will be better to disable [lirc] in the setting by default ... less confusion
-
Same here on my Zbox ci321. Disable lirc-option in libreelec-settings fix this.

FYI: With an special Milhouse test-build with linux-kernel 4.8rc this issue was fixed.
-
I guess the issue is known but no fix has been found yet, LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0)ok, I'm waiting for fix...
Merci vielmals for your efforts.

Could be a kernel issue, Would you be able to test various milhouse builds that use different kernel version to see if any of them work? Thanks for your advice. I tested the milhous-rls and found out, that the releases up to 'LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20160421040821-#0420-gfee76be' [remote.power.on] works, later releases not.
How to carry on with this issue?

Hi,
I have updated my Zotac Zbox ci321 nano from libreelec v7.02 to libreelec v7.90.005 and now I have issues to wake up the device via IR-remote. The Power.Off-button works fine, only Power. On works no more. With v7.02 there was no problems.
Any suggestions or tips therefor?Thx in advance & greetings
Hx
edit: after downgrading back to v7.02, all fine again...
