No, try the P212 DTB from kszaq.

Your TV doesn't support HDR10 nor DV.
So the best bet is the SoC is doing some generic tone mapping of HDR to SDR for HDR10.
For DV, the DV part is an extra layer. If DV is not supported, and it is not supported by neither your box, your TV nor LE, you're just going to get the SDR version of the video.

I tried, but i have problems with TAP 1 + 8.90.6 , rebooting/freeze with HDMI CEC remote and no remote without that. So i disabled HDMI CEC and can't went throu initial settings (not possible), ssh in, copied your file to .config directory and set chmod 644 then reboot. Still only "boot" in vfd, maybe becouse i cant set up correctly the box...:/
No, it should just work.
Please do a "dmesg | grep FD628" and "systemctl status fd628" and paste here (in code brackets)
Better move this conversation to the VFD thread.

There are no nightlies with Amlogic community LE builds.
Installtointernal is no longer supported (as mentioned dozens of times already) and will brick boxes. (will require reflash).

I was looking for someone with a Tap1 to check if my driver can get the clock on the front to work.
You'd need 8.90.6 by adamg, and the attached vfd.conf file. Place the conf file into /storage/.config and reboot.
Here's the thread for it: LED (VFD) Displays in LibreELEC

Thanks, I got an email notification and the link was there. I grabbed the DTB from there.
Do you have the Tap1? Do you have LibreELEC on your box?
-
It requires logging in. Could you post the DTB from the file?

Yes. I added a note to that post to avoid future confusion.

This driver is built for the old kernel. 8.90.6 already has the latest driver built in.
Run sh uninstall.sh and reboot.

Mine is a MXQ Pro 4K S905X. Would it work with LE as well?
Yes.

Probably best to search kodi forum for kodi related things like subs.

Yes I agree with that. My T95N is running the latest 8.2 build by kszaq too, only my dev boxes run alpha builds.
But to be honest, even the $200 nVidia shield has a bunch of its own problems, and it has a huge company behind it.
I think I may go back to x86 if/when they add proper and stable 10 bit and HDR support to Linux.
Anyway, this is pretty much as off topic as it gets

I don't think there's a better option than a S905X right now if you're looking for something cheap that can also do 4K, 10bit and HDR. A $6 usb 3.0 gigabit ethernet and that's all I could really ask for.
I have a S905W and it's pretty slow compared to my T95N S905X box that sits just beside it.
If/when Rockchip or Allwinner support gets better, with proper 4K, 10bit, HDR and audio passthrough support, I guess then I'll consider switching to something else.
I have an old S812 box I use for backup, a T95m S905X, a T95N S905X and a Abox A1 Max (A95X R2 clone) with a S905W soc.

I actually have LE 7.0.12 running on my T95m, with the VFD driver
-
That's great
I fixed the install.sh script to preserve file permissions when it copies them to the installation folder.
And I compressed the zip file so that it will preserve the original file permissions as well.

Do a grep FD628 instead.
And systemctl status fd628
Edit:
You're supposed to copy the raw text from the vfd in the repository.
