Khadas VIM3 will use the Amlogic A311D And not the S992X
Is it good or not??
Identical to S922X with NPU added.

I'd like to add that from Coreelec 8.90.1 onwards "longpress" is supported but you have to switch from remote.xml to keyboard.xml for it to work.
Use the tar command to create the archive, copy the archive to destination and extract
I tried this. Nothing is big enough to hold the tar so it just doesn't do it.
I've found this very handy because now I can do a clean SD card install and still have my addons. I have two s905x boxes and want to transfer the data that's on the internal memory of the first one to the other one. How can I achieve this?
I relaxed continuity check to avoid wrongly detected stream out of sync.
LibreELEC-S912.arm-9.0-devel-1522315907.tar
Try to test my devel version. I ported from kszaq kernel some tweaks to optimized video decoding.
For S905 boxes you can use:
Are these a continuation of the development of adamg?
When I enable HW decoding for h264 I experience frame drops (lots of them). Not so much with SW decoding or I haven't noticed.
It's easy. If you lost with an alpha then go back to stable (8.2).
Thanks for your advice but I fixed it. Please post if you have any advice useful for me in the future.
Okay, so. Netflix didn't work properly with 8.90.6 and I couldn't update to inpustream.adaptive 2.1.15. So I tried the newest one. Now it doesn't work at all.
I'm actually at a loss at what to do next.
If someone needs the NEW libwidevine ARM libraries, which work with Amazon VOD and Netflix:
Tested on 8.90.3 (S905X) with the additional explicit setting in Sandmann's Amazon VOD to store credentials instead of using cookie.
File not found.
Libwidevine is no longer provided automatically and you have to install it manually
In this thread there was a newer version but it's not available for download anymore. Where can I find/download the latest relevant version?
Netflix is not working anymore since I did a fresh install. Not sure what happened.
Display MoreX92 modified remote
To use all described functionality:
- systemctl stop kodi
- systemctl stop eventlircd
- copy the file "X92" to "/storage/.config/rc_keymaps/" and "rc_maps.cfg" to "/storage/.config/"
- copy "remote.xml" to "/storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/" and "Lircmap.xml" to "/storage/.kodi/userdata/"
- ir-keytable -a /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg -s rc0
- systemctl start eventlircd
- systemctl start kodi
Green buttons description:
6 - works as backspace on virtual keyboard, delete for selections and return in all other places (exclude PVR)
5 - as EPG, for videos it works as bookmarks
4 - as context menu somewhere, in PVR as OSD Channel list, in main menu as TV channel list
3 - shows player info in video streams
2 - change audio language in video streams
1 - info about video or about PVR channel, in main menu it open settings
This pointed me into the right direction. Unfortunately I have not figured out (yet) how to use <mod="longpress"> which would add a lot more functionality.
I see why it's not working for my. It only works with the original remote.
So now you have the scan codes, all you have to do is follow the instructions on creating your own keymap.
See these two posts:
Got it working, will soon post my remote (which is the remote of the Mecool) and the config.
You should probably fix the link to the latest trees in OP.
Gregoir3 I think you should try one from this folder: Index of /releases/dtb/S905X
Thanks kszaq. Didn't know this link existed.
Updated with the proper dtb but still "No device found" message no matter what procedure I follow.
Did you download the latest copy?
I have a 2GB 32 Beelink MiniMx3 2 machine which means I need the gxl_p212_2g.dtb file. The latest dtb is from 2017-10-28 11:13
You need to update your DTB
I did. Renamed it to dtb.img and rebooted.
You can try to edit rc_maps.cfg to
meson-ir * beelink_gt1
And also use last dtb file for you device
Tried this as well, to no avail.
