I didn't realise so many people used it however it needs to be reworked and read supported colourspaces the same way supported resolutions are read rather than list all available options and then that way it won't cause any issues for people selecting an unsupported option. I would also like the settings to take immediate effect rather than having to reboot with a dialogue saying are you happy with this etc...
Thanks. Not sure if an automatic option will work... I have to manually force [email protected] (or lower) for 10/12-bit and HDR to work w/Epson 5040UB even on my Android boxes like nVidia Shield and Zidoo X9S. This also applies to Epson 4000, 6040UB, and EU variants of these... all of which are limited by 10.2Gbps HDMI bandwidth (vs. 18Gbps).

Thanks... any idea why? In my case, I have an Epson 5040UB, which only supports 4:2:2 10bit (really transmitted at 12bit for my PJ)...

First time trying CoreELEC. Previously used LE build that had colorspace options in settings. What happened to this? Looked under System > Settings > CoreELEC and elsewhere and not seeing it. In expert mode. Thanks.

Just a quick thanks GDPR-2 for the latest build w/colorspace options in settings.

You need the right .dtb file (device tree image) as explained in post #1.

Tanix TX92 has gigabit LAN as well; costs about $60USD.

wrxtasy, tested this new 'test' version and I get no audio w/PCM 2.0/5.1/7.1 and AAC. With your last one, there is audio, but it sounds off... like background/surround only coming through w/o the fronts/dialogue.
Update: Getting no audio at all, and passthru options in settings are gone.

Simply enable 422,10bit if you are viewing 4K HDR 10bit content and want greater color depth to possibly reduce color banding.
You can leave this enabled for regular SDR content as well, the kernel handles auto switching between REC.709 and BT.2020 for SDR and HDR.
LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.2-Chroma-422.10bit.tar
Notes:
- there may be some Audio issues with this release after using audio passthrough. Straight 2.0 PCM audio is fine.
- the previously jerky video playback when watching H264 OTA TV seems to have disappeared as well.
wrxtasy, thank much for this terrific build, which makes it super easy for enabling 10/12-bit and keeping it that way through reboots/power on/off's. I'm not having any HD audio, including ATMOS/X, content, but have only tried a couple of test clips & movies so far.

Asking experts here for help on moving LE to NAND, which isn't working for me. I asked in Kodi forum (please see here), but what I've tried so far isn't doing it. Appreciate any guidance, thanks!

Curious what benefit(s) enabling libwidevine provides with LE?
-
Great, will do just that. Thanks.

Okay, thanks. Planning a hard reset first, rebooting, then downgrading to Jarvis build.

Quick question... I'd like to go back to 7.0.3.011 from 7.90. I have LE installed onto NAND. Can I just drop the 7.0.3.011 img.gz and proper device tree into 'Update' folder and reboot? Thanks.

A patch from Codesnake is included in my development kernel (on my hard drive :P) so it will be also included in my next build. One more think that I want to include for S905 are media_build DVB drivers. Christmas is coming so I'm a bit busy with more important stuff but you should expect a new build soon.
Really appreciate all your work kszaq :).

Hi, new here. Apologies if this has been asked, but when can 23.976 support be expected in Krypton builds? I was told at Kodi forum that it's presently only supported in Jarvis w/LibreELEC for AML S905/905X? Thanks.
