I know there IS a problem with Samba shares but I thought it started in 008. The "fix" was to specify the IP and share name in $HOME/.config/hosts.conf
<IP address> <SMB Name>It "might" solve your issue.

Okay, i added my internal ipadress and smb name (is the name of my libreelec client e.g. nucelec?) but it doesn't fix the problem
a downgrade to V7.90.007 sovled the problem.

Hi, im using the acutal Build 7.90.009 Alpha and now have problems to upload files to my external USB HDD via Ethernet (Samba Share).
Hardware: Intel NUC D34010WYK
Upload doen't start, and returns a error after ~20 sec.
Upload to the internal SSD works fine and upload from internal SSD to external HDD (USB3) is working fine too.
Only the Upload directly to the Samba share doesn't work since 7.90.009 Alpha
With 7.90.008 Alpha, everything was working. Downgrade to this version doesn't fix the problem 
Any ideas?

P.S. also did a hard reset of Libreelec/Kodi and Nuc BIOS reset.
