My 64bit image build went fine but I cannot build the service/tvheadend42 addon (other addons build fine)
simply returns
the change with previous package is

Does this ring a bell?
Where shall I report this upstream?
Thanks
Thanks for 8.0.2b ! perhaps consider adding a tag in git.
I had some HTTP LE source transfert issues, probably unrelated though.
have a nice day
Is the plan to release 8.0.2b-tN N>=1 'test' images in order to eventually end up with final 8.0.2b? I imagine 't' in 't1' stands for 'test'.
I ask because I wonder if I can wait until 'final' 8.0.2b to build a 64bit varsion.
Thanks for your amazing work.

Hi,
Can you update temp Sensor disabled 8.0.1k in 64 bit version?
Thank you!
Thanks for asking... Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I simply build from source.
I am not sure how the 'temp sensor disabled' variation is implemented and I am not sure why it is used.
Perhaps it is implemented in kernel .config to give alternative /flash/kernel.img boot image ?
and
Perhaps it is used to prevent high temp kernel trip threshold action ?
Again, I don't know for sure.
Can you tell why 'temp sensor disabled' variation is used and how it is implemented?
have a nice day

Hi all.I enjoy all the builds. (thanks kszaq) but not the big downloads.
So I tried to see if there was a way to make patches between the builds, with decent size patches.
I was successful.
I now have access to all 10 builds (a to j image with sensors) only needing 164 megs of downloading. (LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.1a.img.gz + 9 patch files)
If this is something that would be useful for you, you can look at it here:
GitHub - gary9872/905kszaq-diff-patches
I made a script (Linux) that can patch any of the sensored image builds, or you can do it manually. (Linux/Windows)
If you like the idea but need instead one of the other formats/versions (no sensors, tar etc) I'd be willing to add those too.
Any comments, suggestions welcomed.
Cheers,
Gary
the xdelta's are small indeed ...
S905/S905X aarch64 8.0.1j build (+ some addons) @ LE – Google Drive

I don't see any difference between your port and Kszaq's port.
All credits go to kszaq for development. I only built the software. How much RAM does your device have?
What are the advantages of the 64-bit version? How it can be used for our boxes?
There are no real advantages that I know of. Unless if some code would take advantage of 64bit.
Perhaps even some disadvantages: 64bit sure needs more memory/diskspace and has less addons supported.
But, it might be OK for people having enough RAM and only modest addon requirements.
Works for me (mainly used as DVB-T server and client).
Switching from/to 32/64 bit on same storage medium needs some care. I never tried it though, so I cannot comment.
So, running from dedicated (fast) SD card is probably safest approach to try out.

I've installed numerous s905 and s905x boxes with LE, but I have one box that just flat out refuses to boot LE.
It's an acemax s905 MXQ pro 4k, and i've tried to flash every known firmware on it, but if it reacts to the toothpick booth (depending on firmware) it just stays stuck on the amlogic logo. (boot from SD or USB).
(I've fixed a few odd boxes by flashing a new firmware on it)(tried with various dtb.img files as well, either 200 or 201, though it is a 201 1G 100Mbit)
Funny thing is that it does boot almost every Android firmware and even flashing an OpenElec zip works, just not LE.
(also upgrading from OE with a tar gets it stuck on the boot logo again)Does any of you have an idea where to look at to even debug where the problem might be?
I guess I should just sell it on as generic Android box (or just trash it), but I would love to find out what the *&^#% the issue is.
if, unlike myself, you are a handyman, you may want to solder a console and perhaps have to watch something there.

Hello,
I have a question regarding live TV and external USB Tuners.Currently I am using my Box (905x) to watch live TV via DVBViewer Plugin - utilizing a TV Server. That works really good.
kszaqs builds have drivers for external tuners, if I understand correctly?! I can`t find any information, which tuners are supported by these. Any hints, where to look?
And is it possible to use an USB DVB-T2 Tuner and my DVBViewer TV Server together?! Use two PVR Clients simultaneously?
DVB-T2 here in Germany uses HEVC H.265 here in Germany - that should work, no?!Help appreciated
Several DVB-T(2) sticks are supported [like the one in my signature] and one can use tvheadend42 as backend en pvr.hts as frontend on one box. There may be other backend/frontend combinations, like VDR. I also run mythtv frontend for a mythtv backend running on an x86_64 gentoo HTPC.
8.0.1e available to download.I have to take at least 10 days break. I won't be updating my builds and won't be writing on forum. Please enjoy the builds responsibly and help each other like you always do. See you later.
Enjoy break. When you read this, consider setting a 8.0.1e tag in git for reference.
