I have the same issue on my Play2. (8.0 release)
Watch TV with TVH HTSP Client. Randomly freeze after 5 - and 30 minutes.
TVheadend server ist NOT running on this box.
This should be easy to reproduce. -
Hey!
I did some testing again with LE 7.90.010 with same result.
Hardware: Intel NUC-Kit D34010WYKHow to reproduce:
1. Create bootbale USB Stick with Libreelec USB Creator Tool and LE 7.90.010 Generic
2. Boot in "live" mode
3. Leave default configuration. Only activate Debug-Logging
4. Add a samba share
5. Start a movie from Samba share
Format: Video: h264/720p Audio: DTS 5.1
6. Pause the movie
Screenshot 1: 10% Memory usage initial7. Skip the movie several times 10 minutes for- and backward (>50 times)
Result: 46% memory usage
8. When reaching the memory limit kodi will crashLogs are here:
log-2016-12-30-12.06.53.zipI know this is not a problem you will ever have in workaday life, but I use HTSP Client und everytime I switch between channels something similar happens.
Cheers!

Update:
Today I installed 7.09.009 on my Intel i7 based Notebook (without any additional addons)!
Same problem here.
On both machines VAAPI hardware acceleration was activated.
I deactivate it and give it a try. Result : No memory increase anymore.
So it seems to be a general problem with VAAPI acceleration.
Can anyone confirm?Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk

Hi all,
I installed version 7.09.009 on my Intel NUC-Kit D34010WYK today.
Until then I used 7.0.2, which works perfectly, so this is the first time I run Version 7.09.X on my NUC.While playing some random (h.264)-Videos or playing some TV channels (TVHeadend HTSP Client) the memory utilization increases on and on till Kodi freezea or crashes.
It happens much faster, when I skip the video several times for- or backward.I installed 7.09.009 on my RPi3. There is no problem.
So maybe it´s a problem with die Intel Video Driver.Cheers!
