My guess: you are not running LibreELEC on a Raspberry Pi.
If you run LibreELEC on a PC, use TigerVNC.

Thank you for the fast answer. Then I'm just too stupid Do not get any connection from the Windows system. I've already checked the firewall.
The last time I could not connect it was because I had set a wrong protocol at the client
Hello,
does the "Raspberry Pi VNC" addon on Rasp4 4GB work?
Thank you for your answer.
greetings
Chris
It does
It stopped working here too. I installed the latest master from zip (https://codeload.github.com/asciidisco/plu…flix/zip/master). That fixed it.
Hi, I can only recommend (if you have an Android Phone) to buy the app HiFy. Works perfectly with Libreelec! With Librespot I had only problems.
What problems?
Dear All,
I installed this on my raspberry with latest libreelec, and my android phones spotify indeed does see librespot. However, it keeps staying on "connecting" and then falls back after a while to the device that it was using - it does manage to connect to the raspberry.
Could this have something to do with that the raspberry runs over LAN while the android phone is on my wifi - both are running via the same router though?
Are the phone and LibreELEC on the same subnet? If you do not know what a subnet is, what are the IP addresses and mask of the devices?
I did it 3 years ago, here's the "evidence": Running Xorg on Raspberry Pi through Docker
Why wouldn't it work? You can basically run anything in Docker.
The end result is not worth the effort.
If you need a browser then use an operating system that supports it.
CoreElec 9.01, Wetek Play 2:
I have had 115d in use over the weekend. It works good.
It seems Kodi reacts faster than before, was that the desired effect?
Thank you for the feedback.
I have moved Kodi notifications out of the librespot notification loop, which may have improved reaction time.
I have tried 2 VNC clients now, same behaviour.
What LE version?
Do you have a log?
Hi awiouy
is there any chance to get the plugin work with Android/NVidia Shield?
It would be great if I could play my Spotify music with the Kodi Player but I didn't find any solution for that on Android.
thanks!
I don't know how Shield works.
Lubrespot addon relies on PulseAudio and system.d.
If Shield has them, then you might be able to port the addon.
Well, it seemed to work when I updated using the web interface. But if you update the add-on in Kodi it goes back to 0.14.29.
I wanted an update because it doesn't work, keeps saying "too many open files".
Enable auto-update in webui to install the latest version of syncthing.
Do not update the addon, unless a new revision is available, which should not happen frequently. This reverts syncthing to the version shipped with the addon.
Excellent!
I think CE is quite fast in picking up updates, but will ask them.
Again, thanks for your excellent work!
BTW, Librespot for LE RPi2 should run on CE
Revision 115 has been pushed to LE.
No idea about CE
Many thanks!
In general, how long it takes until a new release is pushed into the repository and auto update pulls in Kodi?
What LE/CE version?
I can confirm the same problem, can't switch. Hope awiouy will have some time to fix it soon! Thanks
This should be fixed with revision 115
Hi
Any plans to update to 1.x.x?
It solves some problems.
Thanks for your work.
Configure syncthing to auto-update
Same problem here, since a couple of days. I need to switch away from librespot, change song or list and than switch back.
Same on mobile and macbook.
I have seen that. I will report at librespot.org when I get the time.
