LibreELEC on Windows has same result as the issue in the Linux driver and not related to the SOC or platform i think

Does this card works well with libreelec Generic x86 (64-bit), you can write the libreelec image on a usb drive and cheak the scan result on any laptop.

i tried it with windows 10 not within LibreELEC and it was fine i can scan and see all the channels

i will try to run LibreELEC on laptop and see the results , i will update here

Every thing is working properly thanks to kszaq, I highly recommend it rather than the geniatech v3.

You can find it on ebay, little bit expensive but fully supported in linux and libreelec.

thanks for that information ashrafhumax but as i have searched i found it is available only on ebay @92 USD which is almost 3 times expensive than the one i got

first of all thanks to you guys for all you efforts specially "kszaq" with all the great builds for Amlogic S905/S905X

here i have an issue i am using the latest build "[8.1.6] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X"

and just purchased a GENIATECH Mygica HDStar DVB S2 which later turned to be the revision "V3" that is not supported by Linux mainline DVB drivers.

i have searched the entire web "literally" till i found that "afl1" has a patched version in this post for Older version of kszaq builds

how can i know if the correct driver patch in the latest build "[8.1.6] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X" to know if i have another problem to solve ?

if not how we can get the patched driver to be in current and future builds ?

Here some information " which i can't understand" shows that patching and details with some codes "also i don't understand it" to update it

Please tell us more about your setup. What box are you using, where are your files stored? What network do you use? Is there a sample file that repeatedly triggers the buffering that you could provide?

Also, I can recommend to "start fresh" with a new install on a spare sdcard without any changes to configuration, to rule out any issues with your settings.

1 - i have an external WD 1 TB drive connected and working fine , but recently i connected it to my PC to add some episodes and later connected back and update
the library but it's not showing under TV show as the rest of the old files in same directory.
i have restarted even renamed the folders and scan again with now success.

2 - i followed the steps for update from Beta3 with temp sensor disabled to beta4a
i have copied the beta4a.gz file with the proper device tree to Update folder using SMB network
and restarted and no update happened.

Thanks Kszaq for the great effort you have done on that.

i have Nexbox A95X - S905X 2G RAM /16G

* for the good luck it seams that i have "Original" device , i have found the boot button in AV slot and the device booted from SD card from the first time.
* My remote work without any remote adjustment or configuration.
* My Bluetooth is working , Wifi
* remote switch the device On/Off with no problem.
* i Didn't have any boot issue.

- didn't test the Ethernet but showing in the settings
- Didn't test CEC as my TV didn't support it.
- All my videos working , didn't test 4K

only two times the device reset " crashed" and rebooted automatically i don't know the reason and two times is not an issue.
