So, reading a lot of different posts about this theme havent really made me any wiser, so i wanted to create this thread to ask users to post their set-up that has a verified working 4k120 LE GUI active.

I simply love the fluent gui "flow" at 120hz. I understand that like 99% of video material is 23.99 or 25 etc, but i would like to test my tv setup with 120hz video files etc to see the full potential (ok ok - to brag to friends )

Now, i don't wanna spend mucho dineros on hw just to find out it's not actually working...

So i ask; Has anyone been able to do this, and could you please post your HW setup here?

Pretty simple stuff actually.
I made a script that autostarts a slideshow when kodi starts. It can use pictures/videos from a local folder or an SMB/FTP share too.

I've set up some screens in the reception at my office with slideshows that use a 90' rotation.

Until recently i've used a small pc to push the slideshow using the Legacy Libreelec installation that supports xrandr, but have replaced the 0' ones with raspberrys

Been trying edits of both config.txt and cmdline.txt without much results...

Using LibreELEC-Generic-legacy.x86_64-12.0.2.img works for me.

Edited syslinux.cfg as you instructed. Thing is; the LibreELEC bootlogo is rotated, but immediately after the main Kodi GUI starts, it's rotated back to the inititial 0 degrees rotation...

Searched without finding a proper matching issue so creating a new thread about this one.

I've run a automatic slideshow with vertical screens with LE9 for years. Now it's time to upgrade to 12 (about friggin time lol).

I used to do "xrandr --output DP3 --rotate left" in autostart.sh, but i understand that xrandr is now gone from the distros.

So therein lies the dilemma; Does LE12 no longer support screen rotation at all?

Any way of sudo'ing back xrandr maybe?

LibreELEC 7.90.009 With Kodi 17.0-BETA6

Guys - i cant find the "allow file renaming and deletion" settings in Kodi anymore.
I even tried changing the option allowfiledeletion in guisettings.xml to TRUE, but it defaults back to FALSE after reboot, and no Delete option in the context menu in the file lists.

Any ideas anyone?
