Just did some more test regarding AAC 2.0, And it looks like it's a bit more random than I thought. The only thing I'm certain of is that when this msg "CVideoPlayerAudio::Process - stream stalled pts:794.794 clock:794.809" appears in the kodi log. ACC 2.0 stops working.

I did notice that, but the copies shared on his google drive are for the s912, AFAIK that won't load to the s905
Than look 10++ post up

Just a little update.
My KI pro has been playing music/tv-streams/movies HD/UHD HDR flawless constantly for more than 16h a day over to days now. Not even a "RED" text in the log files to talk about. So if this is the "Extremely buggy, useless piece of crap version", I just cant wait to test next one.
PS. To all you wannabe's out there, Just because it works for me doesn't magically make it a stable version.

Done some more test regarding post #1. And it looks like this is only related to streams coming from TVHeadEnd. So it might not be a LE bug, but a TVHedEnd bug.

Also experienced some issue with the audio sampling rate. I have mine set to best match, but every now and than it sounds like the driver sets it to 44Khz and one gets this dark slowmo sound. Setting "Keep audio device alive" to off, and "Play GUI Sound" to never seems to help

A workaround for getting AAC 2.0 to play, is to set Channels to 5.1 / 7.1 and reboot

Does anyone know what might be the implications
of the following error message(s) during LE boot, prior of Kodi start up, for example:
Here is a linux answer, don't know if its the same for LE

My setup is minix U9 -> HDMI -> yamaha audio receiver HTR-2071 -> TV.
No sound when playing video files after enabling audio passthrough.
Can anyone help me how to fix this?
Have you selected all the audio formats in system settings Dolby Digital, DTS etc. ?

Just a friendly advise to people installing test builds;
If you don't know how to advanced configure KODI / LE or have enough knowledge to consider if something is a wrong setting or a bug.
PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL A TEST BUILT!!!

minix u9, with 8.90.6, playback skips, voice audio sounds like chipmunks.
What could be the reason behind this?
Could be something with your audio settings. Check that:
System->Audio are correct according to your avr/tv.
Player->Adjust display refresh rate = on and Sync playback to display = off.

To All you dev's out there! You have all my respect! And I am grateful for all your fine work!
...All I did, was to create a thread about a miner issue regarding disabling deinterlacing. I'm just glad it wasn't a serious bug

Not helpful or constructive.
I have a working 8.90.5 build on internal.
I can run 8.90.5 from a USB stick with Libreelec 8.90.5 also on internal. So there seems to be nothing wrong with the workings of my box or installation or my 8.90.5 installed USB strick.
The issue is that using the same setup and trying top run the 8.90.6 from the same USB fails. I have done nothing wrong. I used exactly the same procedure to install the 8.90.5 to the USB stick as I did to install the 8.90.6 onto the same USB stick. One works one fails. Tell me what I did wrong there ???
I have asked a simple question three times - is it necessary to return to a stock Android ROM to run LE 8.90.6 off a USB stick ?Shoog
I would suggest you move your questions to your own thread.
-
I'm considering it.
-
I am, surprisingly, not interested in going back over this - the decision is made. Get over it and I was happy to move on if I could have tested 8.90.6 from a USB. I couldn't so the question is what changed ?
However something seems to have happened as a consequence which prevents loading 8.90.6 which will effect a\ few people and so I for one want to know what the solution is so I can move on.
So does it require a return to stock or not, or does the issue lie elsewhere such as a faulty dtb ?
Shoog
Since I have no idea if your box is the problem or if it's something you did wrong when trying to install the first time, there is no way i can help you.
All i can do is clarify that if you install LE according to the given instructions, i't works fine on my Nexbox and My KI Pro. There is no way anyone else than your self can be hold responsible for the mess you have put yourself in.

I thought we were over this internal nonsense.
So to all/any of you internal fans, Can you please explain to me how running LE from a decent SD card has any negative effect on playing hw accelerate media?
