Hi.
Anybody know how to disable NTP for setting the time? A car killed our internet distribution point... 10 days no internet. And without internet, NTP don't work.. and without NTP the box starts at 0:00 and with wrong date.. no big problem you think? It is a Problem.. cause due to this wrong date/time, my epg from TVHeadend Plugin don't work..
Thx guys..

If you have a windows machine in your network, I think you can use it as a NTP server

Hi, it's my first post in the forum, but i have been using LibreElec on a Nexbox A95X 2/16 for some months. First of all I'd like to say THANK YOU to kszaq and all the people that makes LE posible for your superb work.
I have been using LE on a cheap and old 2GB card until today. It was laggy and scanning for new content took too much time (seconds on KODI for Android, MacOs and iOS, and hours in LE), so i thought that it would be the card, so i have purchased today a Lexar 300x 32GB (a highly recommended card) and updated LE to the latest version. Now LE is as smooth as KODI in any other device, but when scanning for new content in the library continues taking hours for the scraper, and the strange thing is that I have not found much info about this behavior. I'm using TVDB for TV Shows and I'm connected over a 5Ghz Wifi network (about 30mbps of constant download speed from the box) . Should it take so much time to scan for the scraper??
Thanks.
I have 8 4TB disk's on my network full of movies, tv-shows and music. Scanning for new content takes less than a minute. If i have to rescan all the content, it takes almost a day

Did you change ONLY saturation on you tv or can you suggest me others changes?
That would be different from TV to TV, but basically i prefer:
Backlight: 13 (max = 20)
Brightness: 36%
Contrast: 91%
Sharpness: 11%
Color: 38%
Tint(G/R): 58/42
Gama: Default
Color tone: Standard
All filters and enhancements Off
Custom Whitebalance
Custom Color settings for Red Green Blue Yellow Cyan and Magenta

If the GUI is set up to 2160p50 or 2160p60 then it will be 420, sure.
For everything else it will be 444.

Yesterday I tried to watch a BD movie with a DTS HD HRA audio track, but I cannot get audio with the latest LE versions (8.1.7, 8.1.8) .
No luck with LE 7 either. My AVR says nothing and no sound, Other DTS and DD tracks are working.
Could you check this file (I cut about the first 200 MB) here: DTSHD_HRA.m2ts ?
Is it a bug or just a corrupted file?
dmesg after I try to play it:Code

Same problem here. Earlier today i noticed that all my DTS-HR didn't play, thought it was a bug in the latest AVR firmware that was released a couple of day's ago. But now I'm not so sure.
-
I see the same behavior on my 10bit Hisense TV when switching to 4K as well - just have to calibrate the TV when in 4K mode.
why not leave it in 4k all the time?
-
The standard setting is 444, 8bit - not 420.
YCbCr 4:2:0 is not officially supported by the HDMI standard (except for 2160p50 and 2160p60).
However, it might still work in some cases. If i boot my box without autostart.sh, my AVR say's 420 8 bit. But just to be sure, i'll check it again later on.
-
That however is not a rule.
There is no difference between 1080p and 2160p GUI colors on my TV...Maybe your TV has different profile for HD & UHD, and switches automatic when you change the resolution.
-

That's one of the reasons i have the box set to 2160p. Then i don't have to change settings between HD & UHD.
-
I've enabled 444 10bit but with 4k resolution GUI and also 10bit video (non HDR) are very oversaturated (RED is very strong). Why? I hav a 4k hisense tv with 10bit pannel (8bit+frc)
You have to turn down the color saturation on your TV about 10 clicks, when using UHD (4K)
-
Plays fine on my box, but i don't think thy are DV, Just normal UHD
-
Why don't you simply believe it?
If I change something (like 444,12bit) then instantly no picture on my tv. So it definitely does something. If you don't get a picture with 444, 12 then your TV don't support it.
if you log on to your box with ssh and type:
cat /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/attr
You should see what the settings are.
-
What's the point? Current TV's have 10 bit panels and only Dolby Vision can support up to 12 bit, but DV is not supported on these android boxes. Mine isn't anyway, I've tried DV demos on my TV, they run in DV but on my memobox T95N it just 'plays'.
Du you have a link to some DV demos?
-
My last rips is x265 10 bits.
So, if default is 420,8bit dont display that full colors?
Its recommend enable 444,10bits?Yes.
-
The dependency on kodi.binary.global.main ver 1.0.11 could not be satisfied
