Hello, so what did you do with the dtb file? I was wondering this myself...
Just dump it on the SD card in the partition labelled BOOT (that's the one with dtb.img in it)

so if I already have a devel build installed I can just run 'dd if=path_to_new_device_tree of=/dev/dtb bs=256k'?

I had a sound issue on a box running Manjaro a while ago, was able to fix it using pactl command, something like
pactl set-card-profile 0 output:hdmi-stereo -

Great work, I've tested your last rom LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0-devel-20160927010649-r23325-g3be647e.img with this dtb gxl_p212_2g.dtb, with a Nexbox A95x s905x 2G/16G, almost perfect, everything works even suspend!!! But can't get any sound!!! In system, audio output, I just have pulseaudio no other choice. If I can be of any help for debugging, just Pm me. Thanks

Did you copy the gxl_p212_2g.dtb file to the sd card and leave dtb.img as is?

Depends on the A95X version that you've ordered. There are three, one version with S905 CPU, and two versions with the S905X CPU.
What version did you order?I thought the clue was in the name A95X
I ordered a S905X with 2gb ram but until I actually see that it has these features I guess we'll never know with this multitude of 'cheap tat' from our busy Chinese friends
