On s905x2 there are two wired network options, for proper operation you need to use the correct DTB.
Hi
I tried different DTBs but the wired still wouldn't work.....F2 S905X2 box....
Anyway I'm keen to get the wireless working! With your latest build it performs better than before but still drops off the network; appears to drop off quicker when 'under load'. Any way I can troubleshoot this?
It's not a hardware issue cos it works fine under coreelec but I've got libreelec installed in the emmc now and I'd like to run with your system if possible
Thanks

balbes150 something weird going on with networks here
s905x2 box, wired doesn't work, wireless works sporadically then totally drops off the network...
s905x box, wireless doesn't work at all, wired looks like it works really well!
Edit: worked out why I couldn't connect to the boxes to use 'file sharing', need to go into 'LibreELEC services', minimum service needed is SMB1...sounds a bit backward but probably a linux thing, SMB=M$ cac, let's have NFS file sharing instead

Hello,
I've booted the latest image on my A95X F2 (s905x2) with 4Gb of RAM / 64 Gb of emmc. The first issue is the amount of RAM: only 3Gb are available.Worst, Kodi crashed when I try to play a x265 video with hardware acceleration activated. I've tried all g12a dtb with no success.
Could you please tell if it is possible to change the hardware acceleration driver?
Thanks
Which video sample are you using? I'd like to try it....

the wireless doesn't work with this........and the wired only works if you disable the wireless
also the reboot doesn't work.....I see the linux output on the screen, gets to 'Reached target Reboot.' but it doesn't reboot....

Got a Nexbox A95X that was running 8.90.5 (it had been auto updating for months...)
I noticed it hadn't auto updated so manually dumped the 8.90.6 into the update folder, updated OK, rebooted but box hung at initial flashscreen
Anyway managed to get it back using the latest devel image, burn to sd card, paperclip trick, installtointernal so all good just confused as it why it went t!ts up...

You need to install crazycat for dvb drivers, it says on the first post
My eyes must be failing me in my old age
I see from here Index of /LibreELEC/ there is option of version 8.2 Krypton or 9.0 Leia - which should I use?
Thanks!

Thanks to all the developers who give their time for these great builds
I have a couple of S905 boxes and started playing with a DVB-T2 stick
With kszaq's build on a 'X95mini' box the tuner gets automatically recognised, see here....

But with this 8.90.1 build on a Nexbox A95X the stick doesn't get detected. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi
How can I stop and start the VPN from an ssh session?
Thanks -
OK this is working now BUT running transmission on a linux desktop I can get over 5mb/s downloads whereas on the S905X box I only get 1/10 of that speed at best! Any ideas?

Hi zomboided, I've been trying to download this for the last couple of hours with no luck! AWS problem?
Thanks
Edit: don't worry folks AWS is experiencing difficulties and taken half the internet down with it, so much for cloud computing, hahahahahaha -
I was being a numpty, docker wasn't even installed doh!
And I get an installation failure when I try and install it, any ideas? -
Docker is available as addon to install. Go to "service" in LibreELEC repo to install it first.
Thanks for the heads up! but 'installation failed'

Can anybody point me in the right direction of getting docker working please?
At one point I thought it was built into libreelec but when I try 'docker info' I get 'not found'
Thanks! -
Docker works here fine. I even have the plex media server running as a containerCool, what procedure did you use to install? I posted my issue here thread-237-page-9.html

There's something weird going on with my A95X box with this latest update!
It goes to sleep even though the power saving is turned off, then when you switch it back on, the blue LED comes on but the unit is 'dead', no response to ping or any HDMI output. I need to pull the power and plug it back in!?
Also does anyone use 'docker'? Not working....
Thanks!
